It has an amazing Gardenia scent that is both delicate and soothing, and the strength of the scent is perfect for small to medium sized rooms/spaces. Yes, scents are very personal and what may appeal to one may be a total turnoff to another. I tend to prefer lighter, more effervescent scents that are not too floral and tend to stay away from vanilla and coconut scents because they tend to be a bit more heavy. This bamboo scent is quite unique. I don't recall smelling something similar to this and it's a scent that is highly pleasing to me. It is not too perfume-ey and has the lightness of a citrus scent without being fruity. I also don't have to flip the diffusers every other day and can actually smell its fragrance in unanticipated waves. I have ordered many diffusers and this is my second favorite following an Italian boutique diffuser which costs 5 times this bamboo breeze. ... show more

I love clean fresh scents and I thought bamboo breeze sounded like it would smell really fresh, so I ordered the reed diffuser set in this scent. I was right, it does smell really pretty and clean. I also love the bottle that the oil comes in. It is very stylish and looks great sitting on my bathroom vanity. I followed the directions and soaked the new reeds in the oil for about 2 hours and then turned them over to soak up the other half of the reeds. I initially had the diffuser in my sunroom and couldn't smell a thing. I then moved the bottle to my small half-bath thinking it needed to be in a much smaller room. I still can't smell anything unless I'm right on top of the reeds/bottle. It's too bad the scent isn't stronger because I really like the way it smells. At least the bottle is really pretty and adds a nice touch to my vanity top. ... show more

I ordered the diffuser set in the jasmine scent. I'm really pleased with the fragrance jar, which looks and feels a lot more expensive than it is. It's very classy, elegant, and fits in anywhere. The jasmine scent is strong, so I just use a couple reeds (it's in a small room). But even though strong, it's a pleasant scent. I will definitely be trying the other fragrances as well, since the price is good for the quality of the set. This would also make a great gift. Recommend! ... show more
