  • These are durable as hell and comfortable too!
Size: 11 Wide Color: Desert Tan
I just got the third pair of these in 6 years. Each pair has lasted 2 plus years with at least 12,000 steps per day and a lot of abuse. They legit feel like tennis shoes and work like some of the best high dollar work boots. The first pair I wore out the heal a bit. The second pair is still good after two years, but pretty soiled and the heal is wearing flat because I still walk like I marched in the Air Force. Heal hard. Where I work, I need to look sharp so I wanted a fresh set of kicks with new brass coming in. I still plan to use my last pair for hiking, camping and out door work at home. I can’t say enough about these after multiple pairs and years of milage and hard abuse. Well done Reebok!!! Slip resistance works nice too. Never busted my butt once, in some of the harshest and trying situations. ... show more

I started wearing these boots working in Iraq. They are absolutely the best work boot I've ever worn. Lightweight durable and no uncomfortable break-in.

  • UPDATE! Reebok is doing a much better job!
Size: 10 Color: Desert Tan
Let me start by saying that I have owned a pair of RB8894 for over three years and I love these boots. It seems that since I last purchased these boots, there have been some changes made to both their outward appearance and internal stitching. The OLD RB8894 was the most comfortable pair of boots that I have ever owned and they still are. It has a nice large toe box and is very breathable. The padding on these boots still hug my feet and the shock-absorbing insole has saved me from the heel pain I was feeling in even much more expensive boots. The out-sole has proven to be slip resistant, even on oily surfaces. The zipper operates smoothly and once you have your laces set properly, it makes donning and doffing these boots very easy. The NEW RB8894 has all the things I loved on the old style, but the boots are useless to me. A change in production has made the RB8894 very uncomfortable, due to a change in the stitching and materials used to connect the tongue and zipper area to the boot. Please refer to the pictures. The stitching change leaves a bump in the padding and cover that rubs and pushes constantly on my ankles. I couldn't wear the boots more than a few minutes. If you look at the pics you will see how the old boot avoided this from being an issue by using a continuous run of material (padding and cover) and a continuous stitch. Reebok, for some reason decided to change that by stopping short with the material and adding a section of stitching in the worst place, thereby creating this bump. This is very disappointing. I had to wait a long time for these boots due to a back-order issue with Reebok (multiple vendors), so it pains me to have to write this negative review on what was once a great product at a great price. I will contact Reebok and see what their great (or so I hear) customer service has to say, but for now these boots are being sent back for a refund. Luckily, my old ones still have plenty of life left. Sadly, they won't last forever and I will be forced to find something else. Damn you, Reebok! UPDATE 01/01/18: Since my original review, I have owned two more pair of these boots. It seems Reebok has improved (the original is still better) it's manufacturing and QA processes. The problem with the seams and rubbing have been fixed. After my initial review, I contacted Reebok and they offered me a 40% off coupon which I used to buy a pair of RB8894's. Reebok assured me these were made differently and that claim held true. The next pair, I paid full price and was pleased with the quality. I am revisoting this review because I am buying another pair today. The price seems to have gone up significantly, hence the deduction of a star. ... show more

  • Fit was just right, were comfortable from the moment I put them on. Didn't need breaking in.
Size: 9.5 Color: Desert Tan
Love these. Had them for about 2 weeks, wear them daily for work 10 hours a day and when I get home I dont even want to take them off. Very comfortable and light weight. I was hesitant to order these but my Bates boots (which I liked extremely well and lasted 6 years) were unavailable so I gave these a try. So far I am extremely pleased. Time will tell if they last. I would recommend these and would buy them again. ... show more

  • Loved these since I wore 'em in the desert
Size: 11 Wide Color: Desert Tan
I first bought a pair of these boots when I was deployed to Iraq in '08. I loved them then kicking through the moon dust and the peanut butter, and after they were no longer military service ready, I still wore them around at home until the soles were slick and the zippers jammed and the seams busted. I was comfortable in them from the moment I tried them on, until the day I had to trash them. I thought they had been discontinued by Converse. I've been wearing boots since I got out of the Army, nobody else makes them like that. I've worn Merrels and Keens, but I have neuromas in my feet, so I have to have a wide size to fit my orthotic insoles and allow my foot to spread, and neither of them came close to the comfort and durability of my old Converse Moon Boots. Recently, my last pair of issue boots I have left from my time in service have begun to separate at the soles, so I started boot shopping, which I always dread. My feet always hurt after trying on new boots, and I was just browsing online to see what was out there when I stumbled upon these. Turns out Converse sold the pattern to Reebok, and Reebok improved the heel so it doesn't separate and pull the guts out of the boot when you take it off. I've been wearing them for 3 full work days and here and there over one weekend so far, and they are almost broken in. Usually it takes me at least a month plus to break in boots. The composite toe does not pinch in any way, and I was a little surprised. I usually wear a 10.5-11, depending on brand, and I ordered an 11 because some reviews said they ran small, but these fit like an 11. We will see if they last as long as the old Converse, but so far, I highly recommend these. They do have that heel to toe rocking effect, but I like that, because I naturally have a long stride anyways. Hope this review helps. ... show more
