This company, Redcon1, is truly on to something!.. Bodybuilding over 25 years, I've had many side effects with Whey Protein. I tolerated them and noticed much worse with new artificial sweeteners like Moltitol.. people can get awful gas/cramps from that crap. I tried some Chicken protein, unflavored...that was brutal, lol. I wondered why someone couldn't create a Food-Sourced protein WITH Carbs for before/after training & meal replacement with good flavor. ..Oh, and that doesn't give me gas, cramps and sh*ts if consumed by itself. Well These guys did just that! Take it seriously and use it wisely. I noticed body composition changes within two weeks. And next, I'd love to see them do REAL Food Bars! Flavor: Dutch Apple Pie
Wow the MRE meal replacement line is AMAZING. Due to issues with my spleen I had to start eating healthier. I've gone through countless different shakes. Feeling too hungry having to figure out what I need to add to keep my macros balanced. IF YOU TRACK MACROS THIS IS PERFECT. I'm 5'8" 230lb and 2 shakes is almost exactly 2/3 of my daily needs. Drink them over 1-2 hours (morning into snack and lunch into snack). And I'm full most the time. Balanced dinner and coffee around bed and with out in increase in activity I've dropped 50lbs in 6ish months. Pros 1. Tastes amazing. Not just good for a shake. But wow this is really good. 2. Mixes very well. Handheld shaker with ball and no clumps. The vortex rechargeable shaker mini blinder like thingy will mix 4 scoops. Just don't move slow because towards the end it slows(mostly the thicker ones oatmeal chocolate chip and Dutch apple pie. Strawberry shortcake and blueberry cobbler are thinner and blend nicely) 3. The flavors are SPOT on(strawberry shortcake. Apple pie. Blueberry cobbler and oatmeal CC are what I've had) 4. Really about the best price I could find and it's an amazing product. 2 shakes a day M-F and random ones on weekend or if I'm starving before bed and I get about 2 weeks out of it. Lunch $5/day M-F for 2 weeks is $50 covers lunch and bfast and better for me. Win win. Cons kind of. 1. The lid does like it binds and makes me think it's closed for it to drop a foot off the counter or worse the floor then it wastes some. 2. Some get really think with 4 scoops and ice and my little ninja mixer is about 2oz of water shy of what it really needs. Bigger mixer or shaker and that goes away. 3. Doesn't rinse the easiest but use a sponge or bottle brush or you have a few specs of rolled oats that believe the sidewall of the cup is it's proper place. 4. Because the rolled oats there IS texture but far better than most but it's not the gritty texture. Blender with ice will remove most of it. Strawberry shortcake and blueberry cobbler are thinner and had less texture and I just mix with water Favorites 1.blueberry cobbler 2.strawberry shortcake 3.dutch apple pie and oatmeal CC Have YET to try the others. Overall a product that will stay on auto order even once I get to my weight goal for the sheer ease of feeding myself during the workweek. Saving money and time and gas. Redcon thoroughly thank you for this. For someone who needed to do something for health reasons you made keeping my macros balanced so much easier with probably one of if not the best meal replacement shakes ive had. And the variety of flavors help with getting burnt out of the taste. ... show more

All-in-All, very good product. This flavor was ok, probably would go with any other if a good flavor next time i order. This smells great and tastes great at first. Hard to find a fruit that compliments the flavor so i just ate it raw which was exceptional. But i'll just say this, even when i blended this in a blender, the sand-like texture at the end is god awful and almost immediately triggers my gag reflex. Reason why i won't take a star away for that is because if you can get pass that, its a great product with alot of servings. ... show more

I'm a veteran and I figured since it was a veteran-owned business (I think it is anyway) that I'd give it a try and support them. However, this flavor of Dutch Apple-Pie tastes horrendously awful. It does not mix well at all, has the texture of powdery sand, and just as thick. I let my neighbor (who's a bodybuilder as well) try it, and he couldn't even finish one shaker. I asked the seller if I could return it, or even get credit for another flavor, but no joy. They refused. Horrible flavor + Horrible consistency + Horrible results = One Star Review. ... show more

I read the negative reviews about the apple flavor. Almost didn’t try it but decided to anyway. I’m glad I did. I started with (2) scoops which is half a serving. Hey listen, it’s not bad. I’ve been consuming protein shakes for decades and this, at half serving, is pretty good tasting. I’m liking it more and more. NOTE: This is a meal replacement drink. It’s different than other protein drinks. I feel less hungry, and enjoying improved energy levels. This is the best powder I have ever taken and I have tried just about everything on the market. I like how it has a good balance of protein and caloric value. It mixes VERY well and keeps my energy level steady through-out the day. I drive for UPS and this has been a life-saver for me. Great calories and tastes good, and doesn't mess up my shaker bottle having it in my cooler/bag through the day. Really helps me stay on top of my macros in a physically demanding job. I usually have 2 flavors on hand at a time so I can do one of each, strawberry shortcake and Blueberry Cobbler are my favorite. I love that it's not just chocolate/pb/vanilla like a lot of other choices. I am so burned out on the "usual" choices, and I think this has been a slam dunk for me. ... show more

Flavor: Dutch Apple Pie
This is by far the worst tasting flavor I have ever had. After being in the military for 8 yrs I've had my fare share of protein and supplements. This is the most foul tasting flavor I have ever had. I usually play it safe with chocolate flavors but took a chance with this flavor. Huge mistake
