  • NOTE: NOT COMPATIBLE WITH AMP SYSTEMS LIKE BOSE, INFINITY, etc.; Red wiring is not for all models, but if the OEM radio harness of your vehicle does not have an ignition wire, the aftermarket stereo cannot be turned off and on through the OEM radio harness. • Wiring harness
Makes hook up a snap don't have to cut any wires on the truck.

  • Double check your pin outs
The pins did not match my 05 sierra. I didn't check and plugged it in excited to try a new stereo and the power was to a radio class 2 circuit. Shortly after my speedometer started acting up. May have hurt something trying to draw power off a network circuit? You can repin the connector using a paperclip. The quality of the connector is decent. The wire is a very small gauge. It works but there's a reason it's cheap. ... show more

  • Works for 03 avalance
What to know is that the factory harness in the truck has not accessory power wire so the jumper that comes with this harness is very I'mportant tie all wires in to new harness besides the red wire on new harness you will jump this wire from an accessory wire coming from your ac control panel. You will need a volt meter to find the wire you need start by checking with switch off for a constant which will have 12v with switch off than turn switch on and hunt for another wire that reads around 12v this will be your jumper wire. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Terrible harness
This is nothing more than a harness and if you need an interface module it does not come with it, don't buy this buy Metra or buy Scosche the Scosche comes with the harness and the interface module

  • It does work and they were pinned properly
To say the least everything was quality, the hard part was bypassing my factory amp with Staples and four jumper wires lol trying to find a pinout and a wire scheme for a 2008 trailblazer with the Bose system and an amp is almost impossible hundreds of different forums but none are adequate enough to follow without cutting a few wires. With that being said the product works well. ... show more

  • 04 Silverado...ehhh...it can work.
So, for all intensive purposes, it works. Harness connector fits the factory plug, speakers are correct, power is correct, but the factory wiring does not have a 12v acc wire present, and you gotta have that for the unit to power up. This won't be an easy job for a beginner, and it was a bit of a pain for me, and I'd consider myself intermediate. The broken English in the instructions doesn't help...at all. A little research, and I found what I needed...which required a trip to the big box home improvement store. It started feeling like a "free" puppy $50 later. You're going to need a voltmeter, something to jump off of your fuse box (make sure you don't jump off of anything necessary for vehicle operation, and don't jump off of something that is continuously powered,) a little ingenuity, YouTube, anger management courses, NyQuil (so you can sleep at night and not think about why your radio isn't working,) lots of beer, and a strong vocabulary of curse words. Once you've ran that wire, it will attach to the red acc 12v wire from your new unit's harness. If you wired everything properly, you will have a working unit. You can search YouTube for "acc wire from fuse panel," and you should find what you need for that. I also ended up using a previously installed XM radio acc wire because the one supplied was too short. That's also why you'll need anger management courses. Keep in mind, no matter what harness you buy, you'll have this problem. This isn't an error on Red Wolf's part. But their instructions were garbage, and helped zero. Hope this helps, and be sure to just go ahead and get about 20-25 ft of similar gauge wire for your acc from the fuse panel. It's cheap, and it's better to have too much than not enough. ... show more
