I used this circuit breaker on a '86 Camaro to replace a 60 amp fuse that did not blow, but just got stinking hot and made a lot of smoke. There was no apparent reason for the meltdown. I was reluctant to replace the fuse and holder for fear that the same thing would happen, so I tried this circuit breaker. Easy to install. Trip-test works fine. No issues since I placed into service 3 weeks ago. I can't say anything about the waterproof ability as it is high and dry on top of the battery in a car. Seems to work fine. ... show more

Easy to install, included terminals worked well, tested the 150 amp breaker with 130 amp load for 10 minutes and the breaker stayed closed as it should. A different brand would start to arc and eventually trip after 3-4 minutes under the same load. Would buy again.

I have used Red Wolf breakers like this in 20, 30, 60 and 80 amp sizes in my small solar projects. Easy to install. Very inexpensive. I liked the 80 amp breakers best. The terminals are clearly labeled for "Line" and "Load". The 60 amp breaker was not labeled as to which terminal was which.... Good Deal! ... show more

Current rating has not been tested as testing has a tendency to alter the effective current handling capability. Water resistance is dependent upon location of the circuit breaker. I do not suggest mounting in a damp area or in an area exposed to water. Nicely packaged, easy to install.
