Using for Neuropathy pain. Is too early to see results. Using for varicose vein improvement and hair regrowth. It is helpful, but do not know if temporary or long lasting effects. I am hopeful.

I believe that many people that want to apply photon (red light) therapy to their feet would simply wrap a red light therapy belt around the foot. While this is fine and should be effective, having a device that is designed and dedicated for foot treatment is very convenient and probably fore efficient/effective. The device has 120 LED’s embedded in the top and bottom sides of the interior cavity. Each LED contains two red light diodes (660nm wavelength) and one near infrared light diode (880nm wavelength); this results in a total of 240 red light elements and 120 near infrared elements. Having the LEDs on the top and bottom allows for good treatment coverage. The device has two modes of operations: steady light therapy and pulsed light therapy. The pulsed treatment is applicable for people that have sensitivity to the light therapy. Most people will do fine with the steady light therapy treatment. There’s an automatic power shut down after a 20 minute treatment. The controller pod is clearly marked/labelled. It has a connector for the power, and two output ports (to connect to the red light device). You have the option to purchase an additional ‘foot treatment bootie’ and control both, in sync, via the one controller. Personally, I find the cost for a customized, specific foot treatment to be somewhat prohibitive. The same utility can be had with a red light therapy wrap/belt, while having the flexibility for other, general applications. However, if you need regular foot treatments, the convenience might be worth it. The device does function in accord with the product description. It is nicely designed with credible construction. I like using this slipper for pain relief and am noticing some improvement after using it for a couple of weeks. I actually look forward to using it each day! I always use level five for 30 minutes on each foot. Since the lights are bad for the eyes I simply drape a lightweight blanket over my foot. I don’t feel that it gets overly hot but I do notice a tingle at times so I really believe this is penetrating deep for relief of pain and stiffness in my feet which is undiagnosed (but I have been to the podiatrist and have had x-rays, etc.). I wear a size 9 women’s shoe and this slipper is big for me (not a problem as I don’t walk around with this on). Super comfortable to use. Also, the charge lasts quite a while. On a single charge I get at least three hours of use (each day, 30 minutes on each foot for a total of one hour a day). This lasts three days+ for me. I highly recommend it. ... show more
