  • Not bad at all
Have to say for $80 this thing does a great job. Of course I would've liked the better connectors the 600-1 has, but I'm cheap and like a deal per watt and this thing is delivering for my set up. I have the gain set at about 1/3 the subsonic only up less than 1/4 and lpf at about 1/2. I have 2 Bazooka 6 1/2 dvc 4ohm wired in series to 8 ohms then paralled to 4 oms at the amp and this still pushes them just fine using the bass knob. Haven't pushed that past half maybe because I'm older but still rattling the outside door mirrors so that's enough for me and my 07 Accord. I could wire it to 1 ohm but that's risky (amp rated at 2ohms). Only bought this because my other amp would over heat on hot days and figure at 4 ohms and it being a D amp it would fair better. Time will tell, but enjoying every bass kick as of now. ... show more

  • Great power amazing value
This little tiny thing surprised the crap out of me. After like 2 months researching different brands this is the most budget friendly true 600rms I've located and it beats the crap out of my 2 12" bamfs

  • Failed
Failed to power on right after return period was up. Hooked another amp up to rule out an installation issue and that one is fine. This product appears to be a waste of money. Would not recommend.

  • Blew my mind!
This amp out performed my expectations by far. Got it pushing to Fosgate P3 punches. Pushes subs to full potential and doesn’t over work amp. The rms rating is just about right. If you're thinking about getting this amp, don't hesitate. For the price you cant beat it!

  • Pretty good, but if you're willing to go a little further, for $20 more, get the Recoil 600-1.
So, i purchased the 600-1 about 4 months ago and installed it in a vehicle we recently sold and i was in love with that little Class-D Amp, it was exactly what i needed to pair my 12" Kicker CompR without any distortion. I have a different vehicle with a much more modest sound system i am putting together and a 12" Kicker CompC subwoofer with half the RMS that i used to drive the 600-1 with, so while i had the 600-1 in my mind, i thought that this DI600.1 would suffice, and to be honest, it does, sound quality wise it's just as good. No distortion, hasn't overheated on me yet and it seems that it meets the advertised power output, although i have no means to measure it based on anecdotal experimentation it meets the criteria. Where it falls behind is when it competes against it's "bigger brother" is not on performance, although on paper, the 600.1 is 1Ohm Stable whereas this is 2-4 Ohm Stable, but that isn't my choice so it doesn't make much of a difference, however the build quality, connectors and bass adjustment knob surely make up for the $20 difference, which may sound little, but if you take it on percentage it makes for a good 35% increase on the product price. As a standalone product, it is great, like i mentioned, it met my expectations and i'm happy with it, RMS per Dollar, on a Class-D Amplifier that performs flawlessly, it is, no doubt a 5-Star Winner. ... show more

  • I haven't seen any worst product in all my years installing stereo systems
Was excited to install this Amp for my new 10" sub. As soon as I installed the negative cable to the Amp it blew both 30amp fuses. I believe it's external defective.
