  • Quality Light with good color mixing & brightness levels
Compared to three other kinds of lights I’ve bought so far these are the only ones that are actually useful and look good. Very easy to adjust color/brightness on a DMX controller and save scenes. Mine did not come with a remote but thats fine with me since I’m using DMX. I’m not sure if it has any kind if strobe feature or if you’d have to do that with DMX transition settings. At low power they provide nice ambient lighting. On full power you will see a hexagonal pattern on your retinas for a few seconds looking directly at it. I have three right now to test out but will get three or six more and put them on the existing channel assignment to have duplicated or triplicated sets of three colors each, ie 2-3 lights on a single channel. I’ve learned with Amazon DJ lights anything under $100 is probably trash. I guess these are close enough to $100 to be solid. ... show more

  • Battery really does last a long time. Bright and responsive.
Size: 4 Packs
Product was better than expected. I was doubtful about the battery life, but it is what it claims. Light output is good and the colors are deep. The plastic chassis is not so durable, but expected. Overall a good buy.

  • Really cool stage light
Size: 1 Pack
This light is your typical inexpensive 'unbranded' LED par light. It just happens to have a battery. The battery indicator looks very cheesy, but it works. Seems to fully charge in an hour or two. The light is just as bright or brighter than some AC powered LED pars I've used. The remote is very strange. It actually has 2 batteries. One CR2032 and also one CR2025. I don't know if both are needed for the remote to function, or one is a back up. The remote is also fairly lacking in functionality, but it gets the job done. You can: turn the light on or off, engage strobe function (and change the speed using the remote), engage fade function (speed controllable), engage other features of the light such as sound activated mode, pulse mode, etc. A cool feature is you can actually engage the light in and out of DMX mode using the remote. This seems like it could come in handy - at the end of the night just engage all the lights into white, and turn off DMX mode for a work/load out light. The included yokes are one of the cheaper parts about the light. The yokes can barely hold the weight of the light on the ground, and tightening them down too hard seems like it might break or strip the bolts or threads. I might replace them eventually with stronger/thicker material. The colors on the light are pretty nice. With the help of the amber and white LEDs, you can get some nice warm whites and interesting color combinations that are still pretty bright. Check out some of the pictures to get an idea of how it works from about ~25 feet away from the wall, aiming up from the floor. The UV light is nice, but it's hard to get a good picture of how bright it is. I haven't tested the DMX functionality of the light, but I can assume it works as well as most cheap LED Par lights. The manual does include a DMX function list. I did notice that in the description video it mentions "2.4 Wireless DMX". This is false. Unless I am mistaken, I can't find anywhere in the manual or on the light itself about any wireless DMX functionality. That would be an absolute game changer in my opinion, if it did have 2.4 wireless DMX. Oh well. Even without wireless DMX, If you can get this light for around $60 - I think it is well worth it. The battery seems to last 7+ hours when fully charged. If you are using these for running DMX, or for mission-critical stage shows, I would probably look at a cheaper Chauvet or Elation battery powered light. Otherwise, I think this light does a great job for a simple stage light that you don't have to run power to (keep your stage clean!) I might even use this next time I go camping! ... show more

  • Work with proper DMX in to lighting program
Size: 4 Packs
got 8 of these and the lights will switch channel and change mode when plugged in to DMX from a lighting program, tried everything I could think of. only the first light on the chain will stay in the mode you program it to; rest is just a mess trying to perform live shows and you have to have the remote with you to keep hitting dmx button for it to go back. ... show more

  • Cheap plastic, but good for the price.
Size: 1 Pack
I now have several battery DMX lights like this, and although the remotes are different on a few of them, the units themselves seem to be the same design — same LED display, same power supply, same DMX channel map. When I charge them up and do tests, the battery life is usually within 30 minutes of each other. You get the basic DMX channel support, and auto modes (color fades/cycles, sound). Without DMX, you can program the light to a preset color, OR set the RGB values directly for the specific shade you want. It them becomes a battery operated light you can use without any cables at all — which is how I often use these. For Halloween or other special projects, I will take a few of these lights and just run DMX between them over to my Chauvet DMX-RT4 and do the show that way — no computer required, and the only cable is a DMX cable running between each unit. Like my other lights, these are all cheap plastic. They would probably not survive tall drops, so make sure you secure them. The included bracket is flimsy but works fine. You get what you pay for, and I like the price these type lights are at compared to “real” ones that cost 3-4 times as much. I have played with this light for a few months, and no issues so far. I will update this review if I have any issues. ... show more
