I didn’t notice the pink ribbons on the outfit, which I felt gave her a more feminine look. She could be either boy or girl depending on how you choose to dress. I chose to dress as a girl. This one looks very much like one of my granddaughters did as a baby. "E" was astonished and speechless when she saw this doll! Literally, a 13 year old just froze in place and her jaw dropped. Everyone who sees her thinks she is a very lovely doll, pleasant to hold, a really nice size, and a very fine addition to my grandma toys. I am so absolutely impressed with the baby doll. After having to send the first one back we ordered for my daughter I was hesitant to order another. Bought for my daughters birthday. She got a similar girl doll last year from the same company and loves her. I ordered her this boy baby because she wanted 'twins'. He was worth the price, she did think it was weird that the bows on the feet of the outfit were pink, and his hair isn't great. It's thin and kind of long, and overall doesn't just looks bad.
