This is a great looking bumper that we put on my buddies beat up GMC 1500. We talked him into black as the chrome would have looked WAY TOO NEW. He is very pleased with his new bumper and so are we. The installation wasn't bad at at. We had to tweak the holes a little bit and leave the mounts loose until all the bolts were installed as the alignment was off just a touch. No big deal whatsoever. I recently purchase this bumper for my 2004 GMC Yukon without realizing that this is for a Sierra or Silverado and it didn’t fit, but I was impressed by the quality of this bumper and how it looked and how well it was packaged . First of all I was bummed to think I'm going to have to go on a junk yard trip to try to find a bumper for my truck in good enough condition to replace the one I have. My wife suggested I just take a glance at Amazon to see if I could find one there and see how much it would cost. I looked it up and sure enough found one. I was skeptical because the price was more than reasonable so I ordered it. A few days later I was amazed to receive this bumper professionally wrapped with every fitting I needed as well the wiring for the lights done so all I had to do was plug it in. Everything so nicely packaged and simplified I was completely amazed at how thorough this company had been. The time and money I saved by this purchase has left me completely grateful that a company took the time and effort to send a quality product at an affordable price, something that just doesn't happen often enough in this day and age. First and foremost the bumper was well packaged and looks great on the truck, however there were scratches on the inside of the bumper from the start. They provide you with a bag of bolts with no instructions so use YouTube to find instructions, there are plenty of generic ones out there. I was able to use most of the factory bolts using the included brackets but it does not bolt directly up like stock. Even after many adjustments I was unable to use the factory 15mm top bolts or any bolts in that location (pic included) nor was I able to use the factory 21mm bolts or any bolts that connected the bumper to the trailer hitch (pic included). The thread pitch on the bumper for the trailer hitch is a lot different than factory (pic included of bolt difference). Overall the install is solid otherwise and time will tell if it will hold up but I can bounce my weight (300) on it and it holds strong. ... show more

I bought one similar to this a few years ago from another brand, that I was happy with, and this one is nicer. Really nice powdercoat finish from initial impression, and was packaged really nicely with the bumper inside a fabric sleeve to protect it. All new hardware. Can't beat it

This bumper did not fit my 2005 Silverado 2500. I had to use the orginal brackets to get this bumper to fit. Also the bumper is not the best quality.
