There is absolutely no plastic or rubber smell and is easy to clean. So people who are sensitive to chemicals won’t have any problems with this item. It is perfect for those who want something on the thicker side without being too long. I 1st went with the Large size which is almost 3 inches across but because it is so soft. It is easy and comfortable to use all the way down. I’m going from an old PVC 2.7 inches across to this item and the Sea Lion is actually more comfortable when inserted. The curved shape hits all the right spots and feels absolutely amazing. There is a slight skin leather texture which is perfect for holding lube but smooth enough to not irritate your sensitive areas. It’s liquid silicone which is soft enough to actually squeeze down but still firm enough to not bend or fold over during usage. The suction cup is molded directly to the bottom and will stick to almost anything like even a tile floor. It’s strong construction will give years of usage and enjoyment. We’ve got this and use it with an o-ring harness. I wish I had found this item years ago. I also have the XL and ordered the XXL. I recommend starting small and working your way up. I highly recommend this this purchase to anyone who wants thickness without unusable length as I’m not good with depth but love the full stretched feeling. October 6, 2022: Follow up review showing the size increases from L, XL, XXL going left to right. The XL is a large size up in width but still comfortable to fully insert. The XL has been our new standard go to item but use the L to warm up. Usage time is 20-45 minutes comfortably That’s a 3.5” diameter o-ring for our harness using the XL. The XXL is a huge size up again and the 3.5” o ring won’t even fit so we are getting a larger o ring. Taking in the XXL is a huge challenge just to get it inside for even a couple of minutes.
