My JOY refuses to operate with these, don’t know why but it tracks past the end and shuts off. Replace it with a Cricut one and it works just fine. I have no idea why.

These mats were a great price, but my Cricut doesn't recognize/read the mats correctly, so it's hard to figure out how much material I need. I've had wasted vinyl because the Cricut starts cutting several inches down the mat instead of at the top like it's supposed to. Sometimes it doesn't even recognize the mat at all. AND I know the problem isn't with my machine, because the Cricut brand mats work perfectly. Really disappointing. FYI: I have the 12 inch version of these mats, too, but they don't seem to have the same problem. ... show more

These mats don’t work in the cricut machines. I have used non cricut brands mats before so I figured this was a good deal however when the cricut joy goes to align it doesn’t read the mat, so no cuts can be done using these. I am upset that I wasted my time more so then money. Luckily I had enough mats that do work, not this brand, so I was able to complete what I needed to cut. ... show more

I like them. I actually use the light grip for everything. I purchase for the strong grip and it’s honestly not that strong. It won’t hold most of my vinyl anymore. I will attempt to clean and see if it stands up. The standard works great too but again it got not sticky fast.

I brought this because of the varieties at a reasonable price. It works with my cricut joy. I have not had any problems using each mat with the machine.

The heavy and lights mats work perfect. I suspect the regular matt is too dark for the machine to detect it. I tried three times and it kept rejecting it. I tried two other matts (one original brand and one knock offs) and they both worked. Disappointed but happy the other work.

Tried on 2 different Cricut Joy machines. The machines just spit the mats out and would not recognize. I don't know why and have no idea what Cricut puts in the Joy mats but, these mats do no work. I have returned the mats.

Work great for my projects for the Cricut Joy. I will say that I don't notice much difference in the grips, they seem to all grip the same strength. Has worked great for paper, cardstock, glitter cardstock, iron-on vinyl, permanent vinyl and holographic vinyl.
