This is my second time ordering off-brand mats for my cricut. I got these because they would arrive next day. So far, so good. Do keep in mind that all the measurements are in inches. Cricut has centimeters (cm) on one end of the mat. The inches are actually great because I like to alternate ends on the mat (so it gets even usage) and I'm the kind of person who uses as much paper scraps as I can and have become an expert at matching the squares with the screen; it's hard to do that on the cm side of the mat. The heavy grip mat really is sticky, but after a few uses of cardstock, it gets better. A spatula and gently separating paper at no higher than 45-degree angle is your best option at preventing tearing and curling. I prefer to use glossy or pearlized paper with the heavy mat as it transfers fewer fibers and it keeps its stickiness longer. The heaviest cardstock I've used is 65lb (or heavy duty cardstock from paper studio) with the regular blade and 2x passes at standard pressure and it works great with these mats. So one thing I've learned about my Cricut Maker is that it is heavy duty and the rest is up to the mats and cutting settings to get the results you want. I use that little cricut scraper tool to really stick that cardstock on there when the mats get old. These have great adhesion and work well however, I have torn several flowers that I have cutout using the Cricut trying to pull the cardstock off of the mat. The adhesion is phenomenal however, they do not last as LONG as the name brand does. I have taken the torn flowers and made them smaller flowers to fit in the spaces of the shadow box so it's not a complete loss. I would still recommend these mats though. ... show more

Sticker than the original Cricut lightgrip brand. I use 65lb cardstock and you have to peel off slowly to avoid ripping the paper. But still works. Good price for 3 mats. UPDATE: when using sticker paper, there’s sticky residue left on the paper.
