  • A great deal!
Color: 01h-4-black Magnification Strength: 3.25 Diopters
These glasses are an excellent price! I’ve seen reading glasses of much lesser quality in large drugstore chains that are about $30 for ONE pair! My husband’s an M.D., and he requires reading glasses. He’s very rough on them; but these are very durable, they have spring hinges that work very well, and albeit they come in many different colors, my husband looks best in the black frames. They’re lightweight, and he can see perfectly out of them. Each pair comes with a carrying case that doubles as a cleaner for the lenses. The last time he bought reading glasses… he paid $130 for just one pair and they broke. These glasses are strong and he’s never had a problem with them. They look nice, too! ... show more

  • FINALLY -- inexpensive readers that FIT without pinching ...
Color: 01h-4-black Magnification Strength: 2.75 Diopters
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these are, especially for the cost. Pros: - Attractive style - Accurate lens strength -- I know others have had problems with this, but the ones I purchased (2.75 strength) perfectly match my other 2.75 strength glasses. - Sturdy -- no, these aren't $80 metal rims -- they're plastic -- so you need to be a little careful with them. But they're MUCH sturdier than others inexpensive readers I've purchased in the past. - SPRING HINGES!! -- This is usually found on much pricier readers, or if you find it on cheaper readers, it's poor quality. Not here. These spring hinges are solid and operate smoothly. Very well designed. - Wide enough to fit a wider face without pinching -- other readers I've ordered are just too narrow and "squeeze" at the temple. This sit perfectly with no pressure points anywhere. Cons: - only improvement I could make would be to offer a sturdier case with the multi-pack. These come in a nice microfiber sleeve, but with 4 pairs, I'd like to carry one in my purse, which means I really need a sturdier case. Not a huge issue as I can find one elsewhere, but it would be a "nice to have." After cataract surgery, I find a need several different strengths for different purposes: computer, driving (seeing the dashboard), reading, close-up needlework, etc. I just ordered another pair of these in another strength I like them so much. Well done, indeed! Solid 5 stars. ... show more

  • Reading Glasses
Color: 01h-4-black Magnification Strength: 1.75 Diopters
Quick turnaround from order to delivery. Though the readers are not expensive, they are made well and work well. I tend to lose and drop/break reading glasses so this is my third order. Still the same good product and quick delivery.

  • Durable
Color: 01h-4-2black-1tort-1blue Magnification Strength: 2.5 Diopters
I bought a 4 pair pack 1.5 years ago. I’ve used 2 of the pairs daily - taking them on and off multiple times - and both pairs are still intact. I haven’t touched the other 2 pairs in the order. I had ordered cheaper glasses before, but the frames always fell apart in a short period of time. My only complaint would be they are so indestructible that I might not need the other 2 pairs (that’s a joke). If you want durable reading glasses, these are worth the money. ... show more

  • The frames are garbage. The optical quality, however, is really very good.
Color: 01h-4-black Magnification Strength: 6.0 Diopters
I also left the same review on the Two packs of these glasses. I find the optical quality of these glasses to be really excellent. Unfortunately, I think they cut the lenses too large, and the peak that seats in the groove in the frames isn't quite large enough. Now, no doubt this is because I'm fairly well blind, and I need plus sixes and Sevens to see. Having worked in a very large one hour optician's store, I am very well aware of the difficulties this poses. I've bought ten of these. Six of them have just popped off my face broken. Most first cracked around the lenses, the lenses just popping out while I was standing or sitting still. For anyone questioning, I've worn glasses for over sixty years at this point, and I've always been good with them. Most pairs of glasses I buy, have lasted me at least four or five years. I'm good with them. The lenses are excellent, which is why I buy them. I'm not sure how scratch resistant they are, as they don't begin to last that long. However the lenses are fitted a bit to tight for these frames... (recognizing that this is not that easy to do...) The downside is that the frames really are garbage. ... show more

  • Great Fit for Wide Faces and Affordable Convenience
Color: 01h-4-2black-2tortoise Magnification Strength: 1.5 Diopters
As a BBW size 26/28 with an extremely wide face, finding comfortable and proportionate glasses has always been a challenge. The TruVision Readers Reading Glasses, with 60mm wide lenses, were the widest I could find, so I decided to give them a try. To my relief, they fit wonderfully and are comfortable to wear. The package includes several pairs, which is great because I can keep some at home and some at work. The affordability of these readers is another big plus. Every year, my eye doctor would tell me that I’d need glasses when I turned 40. I always laughed it off since I’m now 48 and can still see better than perfect 17/20. This year, my doctor checked me for readers and recommended 1.5 readers. I tried some readers on in the store, but they were all too small for my face/head. He suggested I get over-the-counter, but every pair I tried in stores was way too small for my face as well. It feels a bit strange to wear them on the tip of my nose to read and then look over them, but it’s amazing how much I actually needed reading glasses. Weirdly, looking at my phone without the readers after using them gave me a headache. I’m getting used to it. I really like these readers and highly recommend them for anyone struggling to find glasses that fit a wider face comfortably. I was shocked at how thin they are, but glad when looking over them. I just got them but they seem sturdy and I really like them. ... show more
