    • Perfect stand for my portable laptop monitor
I have an ASUS 15.6" Portable Monitor (MB168B) and I have never liked how the case converts to the stand. You have to lay it flat on the desk/table and it takes up so much room it is very limiting. In conference rooms during meetings, I felt like "that person" who takes up half the room as her personal space. I was looking for something lightweight and portable, but sturdy enough to prop the monitor on. It also needed to be adjustable. The primary angle I use is the most upright position, but it's nice to tilt it back a bit more when there is a glare on the monitor. The arms to hold books open or documents in place can be adjusted so they don't actually touch the monitor screen. I just leave them a little off the monitor as a safety measure in case the monitor tips - hasn't happened yet. Finally, it folds up flat and can be packed in a briefcase or backpack easily for travel and is very lightweight. All in all, I'm very pleased with the purchase and the price was right! ... show more

    • Sturdy, sleek and fits easily in drawer and briefcase.
I was not sure this would be the stand for me, but I needed something. There were others that seemed much better looking, and sturdy, but I got this because it was inexpensive and looked like it would do the job. Once I received it, I immediately ordered another one for my home office, because it was far better than I expected. It was really sturdy, and the little folding arms that hold the page go outward which I think is better than side to side. I can also easily slide it in a drawer and pull it out when I need it. It's very great for the price. It's thin, lightweight and relatively sturdy. So, that's actually why it only gets 4 stars. I bought this to help me with a workbook type book so I could transpose the info from the book to a excel sheet. It's like a typical workbook thing but with the little arms that hold the pages open they don't have any bitbof force so they just slide to allow the pages to close if it's closer to the front. You have to sort of angle the book just so to keep the pages from slipping closed. I wish there was a way to lock the arms or something. I do recommend this but it's just not the best. ... show more

Pros: Easy to use, sturdy, looks nice, works great, folds down to store when not using. Cons: Papers flop over the top Overall a great product just wish it was taller or had an extender on it to support full length of the paper. Product is 9 inches tall so the top 1.5 inches flops over which kind of defeats the purpose of the stand. Would work great for a book or other item that has a sturdy backing, Not so much for a stack of invoices. ... show more

I adore this product!! I’ve been on the search for a book stand that can hold my binder full of notes while I work from home, and I can easily say that this is the one! I like the adjustable features where you can determine how reclined your reading material to be. Also, I like how lightweight and small it is. I've been using this for reading books as a first year law student. They hold the 1500 page hardcover books without an issue and there are little prongs that keep the pages down with rubber to prevent crinkling pages. Its been nice, I use them to delineate starting and stopping pages for reading and haven't had an issue. Also folds up really easy to take to the library. Genuine 5/5 stars, couldn't be more thrilled. Haven't used for smaller books as I prefer a kindle for pleasure reading but I assume it would be good for that as well. ... show more
