  • remove some o-rings
Color: Black
These are great shocks but require a little setup to make them work right. There are two o-rings on each ball end, with both of them installed the balls can't swivel enough and when the suspension flexes it causes the shocks to bind. the balls have flat spots, one is a larger diameter and goes towards the outside. remove the o rings from the side of the ball with the larger diameter. I also suggest using these with one of the aftermarket options for different shock mount positions, like what the various 3D printed LCG kits have. in the stock location it makes the crawler waaaaay too tall. some people suggest using limit straps to keep the front end from unloading on climbs due to the crazy amount of extension these have, but personally I haven't found that to be an issue on my rig. ... show more

  • Super awesome!
Color: Red
Great set of shocks! Makes a world of difference compared to stock. I used my resin printer to print a body and it was a bit heavy and bottomed out the stock shocks. I used the springs that came on the new shocks and they hold up the body well and perform better than expected. Highly recommend!

  • IMPORTANT READ BEFORE BUYING! THIS WILL HELP INSTALL
Color: Red
These shocks are great! ,But they take some work. When I first installed them 1 out of 4 would get caught and stick. Also the shock was really close to the frame rail which I don't think helped the situation. THE FIX: The pivot balls are held in the shock with O-rings so I took one out, so the pivot ball could pivot freely without the O-ring preventing free pivoting. Then I put the O-ring in between the frame rail and the shock. This made it so it was further away from the frame rail and allowed more smooth flexing. I did this to all four shocks on both the top and bottom(except I only put an O-ring between the frame rails and the pivot balls. Not the axles) I hope this helps you! Edit: I forgot to mention the provided springs suck(unless you want it jacked up and not realistic) To fix this just put the stock scx24 springs on instead. This gives you stock ride Hight but way more flex. ... show more

  • Works great - some tunning
Color: Black
I've got these on my scx24 glaiator JT with the full overland accessories. I do have all sorts of sprung weight and went with the medium springs in rear and softest spring in front. You will need to play around with springs to accomplish your goals (crawling, lift, scale or whatever) however the cool thing is... it does come with 3 different spring rates, that's awesome. my other experiences are the hot racing and stock, these by far have been the most impressive with the travel and flex you'll gain. ... show more

  • Bind up. But other than a little binding they’re pretty nice
Color: Black
They do bind up when you get into a bit of articulation. They’re defiantly not as smooth as the injora 43mms. But I defiantly am gonna continue to try running them in hopes they smooth out some.

  • Great and smooth
Color: Red
Work good, provide lots of travel. I had the best luck without springs so it didn’t make it too tall

  • Great springs - black are the lightest
Color: Red
Great shocks. Not sure if something changes but I read in the questions section that the springs that come installed (gold) were the softest. The black springs are infact softer, at least as of the date of this review.

  • Big upgrade over stock Scx24 shocks
Color: Black
Was very hesitant on buying these but glad I pulled the trigger. The springs that come already installed on the shocks are way to stiff and need to be swapped for the softer ones.(or take springs off altogether and run full droop) These have a whole lot more articulation over the stocks ones as well. ... show more
