We ordered the RBOCOTT Solid Color Cotton Slim Tie Skinny Necktie Rust 6cm We ordered this for a Cosplay outfit to do John Constantine. One if his trademark looks includes a red tie. This worked perfectly. It looked great! Its a thicker slightly coarse mat (not shiny) material. It is a bit thicker than some ties are but we didn't find there was issues with using it. It feels comfortable on and was a great length. We ordered the rust color and it looked like the photo. It seems sturdy and well made. It is a skinny tie, which means it is not as wide at the base like some. That's what we wanted but some may not like the look. I actually prefer the look if skinny ties overall, but we particularly wanted a skinny one for the cosplay. Over all great product and we have nothing negative to say about it. ... show more

I haven't worn a tie this narrow since I was a teenager. I used to prefer skinny ties, but as I aged into the corporate world, my ties became more contemporary standard (that is, wider). The tie came packaged in a slender box; unfortunately it had a sloppy fold in it (you can see in the picture) which left kind of a crease that is visible even when the tie is worn. It'll need a little gentle ironing to fix that. The tie is an attractive coarse-woven fabric, suitable for different occasions than a silk tie. The tie is too narrow to make a decent Windsor knot... I mean, you can still tie one, but it doesn't look right because the tie is too narrow to cover the knot properly. So it's a fairly casual tie: skinny, rough-spun, best for a four-in-hand knot. The stitching seems good; it has a single keeper loop on the back made from the same fabric as the face, but there's no second loop created by a product label. ... show more

My husband wears a tie to church every week. He likes to match our toddler daughter's dress (which gives my momma heart all the feels). She just entered a "green" phase, and he was missing a green tie! I surprised him with this one because I knew he would never say yes if I showed it to him ahead of time. He has a deep mistrust for random Amazon tie brands. We have a couple of boutique-style online stores that do family matching ties/bows that he loves, but besides that, he likes to pick them out in person. He was actually thrilled with this tie, which is saying a lot since he's so picky. It's a nice modern skinny width. The color is a nice dusty sage (this one is a little on the dark side but is still super pretty). It's a soft cotton, so it's not shiny at all, which adds to the modern feel. He's 6'2", and this is plenty long for him. I really can't believe it's priced at only $10. Our favorite brand prices theirs at $25, and I'd say the quality here is totally comparable. He says it is too thick but slim? The fabric is not your usual fabric for a tie, so the knot is thick. The color is sad sage green. does not exactly look like as the picture. A little sad for this order.

The material of this tie is soft and has a nice weave. It is advertised as cotton but I am not sure if that means 100% cotton--I don't think it feels like 100%. It does feel nice, and it lays well. The color (Dusty Blue) is true to the advertising photo and did not disappoint. It is a skinny tie which my son likes. It has a classy look to it. Great price for a tie! ... show more

This is a really nice looking cotton tie, it doesn't look cheap at all, but rather sophisticated and classy. It's less casual looking than many cotton ties are. It has a matte finish and it's on the thicker side. It seems sewn well and is straight. It's skinny but not super skinny and it's plenty long.
