    • Great for what they are
I waited a week before I made this review... The glasses are great, but there are some things to keep in mind. These glasses will not replace a large 4k tv as they are only 1080p. As someone that has a 75" 4k tv, the tv is still better. I don't feel like these are best used in the house. Although I don't suggest using this while being mobile because the active part of the screen takes up a large part of your field of vision... Still, they are nice outside. Example, going to the park and watching Netflix outside while my dog runs around. I can still see the dog running around in peripheral while watching a movie in 1080p... Another thing is that the image isn't large... My brain sometimes knows that I'm looking at a really small image , just really close to my face... So whenever I start watching a movie it takes my brain a few minutes to adjust. This becomes most obvious when I rotate my head as the glasses move with my head... Again, you'll get used to it. Once adjusted, it does feel like a movie theater type experience. Ultimately, I love the glasses so far. Not the best for productivity, or even gaming, but cool for watching movies in different places like at the gym on the elliptical. Sound quality is decent, but not great in noisy places. Although I can't use it with my iphone 14 pro max because I don't have an adapter, it works natively with my ipad pro as it supports usb-c. Streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etcwork on it also (Ive seen other people say they didn't work so I'm glad I tried for myself.) Also, if you have USB ports available (like on an airplane) you can plug a laptop or firestick into it directly using a cheap HDMI to USB adapter. A great value for the price. Update: Although I cannot get my iPad to work with a bluetooth speaker while using these glasses (for whatever reason), my airpod pros work with them. The only thing the speakers were missing were great sound so pairing them with good headphone maximizes the experience exponentially 2nd Update: I finally got an iPhone 15 Pro Max and the glasses work perfect with it. Having the glasses plugged into a small portable device that can fit in your pocket makes it a game changer for boring cardio sessions at the gym. Also, I notice alot of people talking about the bottom of the screen being blurry and my answer to that is 1) you need good eyesight (I wear my contacts with these) and 2) adjust the glasses. When I first got them I was being gentle with the nose pads... Then one day I got annoyed and just adjusted them aggressively to fit my nose and everything has been perfect since. So if you can't see the bottom of the screen it's one of those two things. Even with those two things completed, the main reason these glasses aren't good for productivity or gaming over a large monitor is that for me you see the overall screen so, it's harder to focus on a small part of the screen...     • Feels like it is close to greatness but misses the mark.
I've been wanting AR Glasses since the Nreal (Xreal now) came out but they were too expensive. I got a 185 dollar gift card to amazon for work so finally I decided to get a pair. I landed on these due to them being cheaper and because of the promise in the email of the fist 100 people getting the Switch dock accessory. (More on that later). Visually it looks good, and it's comfortable. The bottom of the screen is blurry though. No matter how I adjust it, the bottom is blurry. It's like it needs to be 1mm -2mm bigger across the whole bottom. Audio quality is decent, but tiny. But that's to be expected in this form factor style of course, so that's not being held against it. Looks wise on the outside, I wish they had a rim and looked less "futuristic" looking, and more normal like the Xreal, but that can't be helped. The big cons for me are the blurry bottom, and the promised switch accessory to the first one hundred people. I ordered right when it went live, and there's no mention of it. No "You'll get one!" or "You won't be getting one". And their support is hard to find a way to contact , all I can find is a general number, so I don't think I will be getting one or hearing about it. Also, another big con, the Xreal came with a hard case, this comes with a pouch that is very thin. For the price I feel like it should come with a hard case. I like them for watching movies and steam deck, switch support I can't test obviously. But I don't know if I'll keep them yet or exchange them for Xreal or another brand. Time will tell, as I have 30 days to exchange them if I don't like them more over time. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Like many of you I wanted to tryout the AR/XR experience. Let me say that the RayNeo Air2 glasses was a GREAT purchase! The build, look and function will make you want to see this type of tech grow for years to come. I am visually impaired and the thought of 201” screen right in front of my face made make Black Friday my Christmas gift giving option. Here are my pro’s and con’s of these glasses. Pro’s: 201” screen. This is a perfect size for getting into viewing content. I’ve used YouTube, Prime among other streaming services and found it pictures perfect. The look of the glasses. The feel yes plastic, but not flimsy. The fit on my face was easy to adjust as to see all four corners and like many glasses wears know, you will have to adjust from time to time. The speakers do the job but many will have it on high volume or wear Bluetooth headphones. Con’s: All the “extras” that must be purchased. If you]r not on the flagship phons you will be buying addons. I have a MS-Duo (android), a iPhone14 and iPad Pro gen6. T’he android was plug/play with the exception of the glasses not being able to understand when I put the Duo in phone mode (had to have both screens active for the display to work). The iPad was the strange one. I Can get the picture but not the sound through the glasses. Using the adapter (worst part of the purchase) I could get both but the error that prevents watching streamed content made that a waste of time. The iPhone did work with the adapter but more on that device later. I’m sure Apple security is the issue but when you’re spending this kind of money you would expect the workarounds would be provided. AR functions are not available on Apple’s older phones. I have not heard of any of the 15Pro crowd do more then play games or watch movies so other than connecting to you’re desk or laptop we are missing out on what is suppose to be a big selling point of the glasses. I did ry the app on my android and was not happy. Some of this I put on my Duo but the app is lacking considering Xreal’s promotional videos. Not to mention I do not see how to receive updates unless connect to android to run the XR app. Major issue. No Beam or Rokid station type device. This should have been produced BEFORE the power adapter. There function is in to high of a demand on the original releases of these types of glasses for this not to be ready for purchase. Major issue The power adapter. This was a waste of my money. I got it due to having a 14, but assumed that it being an adapter I would be able to use it on ANY usb-c device. Not so. It only charges my 14 with the glasses connected. It does not power my iPad at all Nor have I seen three hours of charge when connected to my iPhone. PLUS it does not over-ride the unable to view content issue. Major issue. Conclusion: The RayNeo Air2 are worth buying if you have a flagship device. You will enjoy watching content and will look cool doing such. If you are a gamer, get the joydock if you have a switch or steam. Otherwise invest in a usb-c/hdmi cable for you system players. For those like me who desire the AR aspect, use your laptop. I don’t hold the company any ill-will. Like I said I LOVE the glasses for watching content. It’s just I know I want to have YouTube, my browser, email and TradingView/Pocket Options open all together and be productive everywhere at anytime. Influencers! If your just doing unboxing post, say that. If you’re reviewing a product take it through all it supposed features and don’t assume we are all aware of propriety issues. ... show more
