This bat delivered on what we were looking for, great exit velocity, he says it feels great swinging. Hit several deep line drives over at the first practice and then first at bat was his first grand slam! Great bat for my son who plays coach pitch. He is a on the smaller side so I wanted to get him a nice lightweight bat. He is now popping balls to the grass like the other kids with 200$+ bats. Honestly, for the price, you can't beat the performance. Great bat for kids with a slower swing speed. Not sure if it requires a "break-in" like other composite bats but I did do some light hitting off of a tee with hard balls before any real hitting. I hit roughly 200 balls off of a tee rotating the bat 1/4 turn after each ball. I also worked up and down the barrel as well. Just wanted to loosen up the fibers of the bat before letting my son hit pitched balls at higher speeds. As a side note, I tossed a couple LL hard balls up to myself and was close to hitting them out of the park one handed at 250' with this bat. Call it a durability test. It passed nicely. (I don't recommend doing this as the bat is not designed for reckless adults but hey, I wanted to see what it could do.) Overall, nice looking bat with a great grip that sends balls flying. I’m a bat guy. Got this in 32 drop 5. My son and 2 of his other teammates tried this bat for the first time and got Addicted. I’m a bat guy, just love to find hot bats. This is it. My son was dead set on this bat. I wasn't. Mainly because the price. It's around the same price as a loaded bat. My thoughts usually are, save your money for the loaded bats because all BBBcor bats are the same. However, I gotta say, my son has been hitting dingers off of this bat. Same dingers he hits with his loaded bat. He is 13 years old. The fields are bigger this year but he's already hit a few off the fence with this bat. I definitely think there is something special about this bat. Is it worth the money?? I think so. If your son is serious about baseball and plays competitive baseball, then I definitely would suggest buying this bat. ... show more

The coach suggested a 29", but we just recently got a new 29", so went with the 30" to see how he likes it, and if needed, can use this later. He fell in love with it the moment he held it and was determined to use it right away. He's had no problem adjusting, and it's far superior to any of his previous bats.
