It’s actually quite beautiful with the inclusion. I couldn’t believe how clear and radiant Herkimer diamond is. I put the Herkimer up against another piece of quarts and the clarity and brilliance blows it away. At first wasn't sure if I liked it It was darker and opaque stone I thought about returning it but with the pretty sterling setting it began to look richer. Stone not too small not too large. It's a very good size.

I fell in love with this pendant, ordered it and couldn't wait for it to be delivered. When I opened the box, it was a disappointment. The silver is beautiful but the stone had so many dirt spots and flaws. I decided to return it and re-order, 4 more times. Each stone was worse than the one before. Just got #5 and not only is the back of the stone black, the silver is also damaged and split. I realize it is a raw opal, but the ones I received didn't look anything like picture. I love my Fire Opal! I have gotten many compliments on it and have only worn it twice. I see that some reviews say that it isn’t very shiny but rather cloudy/imperfections. I would say these reviews are not entirely wrong, however, it is a RAW stone- of course it is going to have imperfections and angles that are not perfect.
