Bike was fun when it worked. The lock mechanism on the battery got stuck and was The bike was unrideable. I Contacted the seller who told me to take it to a bike shop and I had to pay out of pocket. The bike shop could not fix the issue and I had to pay again out of pocket for a locksmith to get the lock fixed. The battery disengages when you go over bumps and lose power. Definitely unsafe when riding my children. The company did not want to allow me to use the warranty. So basically there appears to be no warranty as they will not honor it. ... show more

This bike is very fun and peppy. The price is budget. It has basic components that get the job done. They have trouble delivering what they advertise. They List Tektro disk brakes and had a supply issue and threw on some off brand of brakes that have smaller pads. They also advertised the bike has a bell, it did not. I complained to them and they are shipping a bell, and a lock. The brakes they dont seem to want to correct, brakes are very important. So far it has been a good running bike, it is a bit jumpy compared to my other electric bike. They need to sell what they describe in ads. They were very quick to respond on the bell issue, they simply dont want to admit the brakes they subbed were crappy, but they do work. Time will tell if this bike will hold up. I did a ton of research trying to find the best E-Bike on the market without paying an absurd amount. I am 100% pleased with this purchase. Delivery was quick, great packaging, and the product is amazing. Heavy duty material, and easy installation! I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend to anyone in the market for an E bike. So far my top speed I've reached is 29 MPH, the ride is smooth and comfortable. I purchased some upgrades like a phone holder and saddle bag for the back.     • Holy cow, where has this been all my life?
Have you been scouring ebike forums, watching tons of youtube reviews, pondering if you should buy an ebike for months, and a bit scared to pull the trigger on the purchase like me!?? Well, DO IT! Riding an ebike is WAY better than riding a regular bike. I chose this bike for a number of reasons; affordable, amazon protection to some degree, folding, has a rear seat w/rack, and is a fat tire. This thing is like a mini moped. I ride for miles around my neighborhood exploring sections that I never knew existed. Everyday my kids fight with each other in taking turns in riding the back. It's sooo freaking awesome. Oh yea, it has cruise control too!! Suh-weeeeeetness! Upon arrival, packaging was good. No spray foam on the bike whatsoever - 2 layers of wrap (one for the bike and then another to contain the spray foam in the cardboard box. Assembly is super easy. A few steps: 1. Attach the handle bar (only 1 way as there's a groove to the stem) 2. Unfold the bike and lock latch bar 3. Put on seat 4. Unfold pedals 5. Inflate tires That's it! However, you should check all bolts and screws and make sure they're tight. Mine were. The only problem I had out of the box was that my handle bar was out of alignment just a little bit but that's an easy fix. The battery was 60% charged out-of-the box and I charged it for only an hour but couldn't wait any longer and had to test it. It was enough to conquer hills and put a fat smile on my face. Kids in my neighborhood would watch me in envy and say, "Is that a motorbike"? All they would see are my smiling teeth while I whiz by them.... Can't comment on reliability as I've only had it for a week but will update if I run into problems. So far, life is great and I'm just cruise controlling for miles around my neighborhood.     • Be ready for the power surge when you begin to pedal
The packing of this ebike was phenomenal, it was enclosed in a plastic bag inside the box, and then blown in styrofoam all around the bike to keep it from moving inside the box during shipment. All the important parts including most of the frame, were wrapped in styrofoam sheets, also. After unpacking, assembly is simple. A couple of wrenches are provided; the 4 mm (aluminum?) Allen wrench broke while trying to loosen the bolts for the rear seat pedals, but I had another, so not a big deal, for me. Check the air in the tires before trying to ride it. Both mine were low, but just a matter of adding air. I charged it up and took it for just a short spin, and the power is rather impressive. I ordered the 750W model. The manual says is has 3 assist levels, but my bike had 5 levels of assist, accessed with the +/- buttons on the control. There are adjustable settings to go up to 9 levels of assist, I believe. I now have it set on seven. This allows for more flexibility while riding. When starting to pedal, be ready for the surge of power from the motor. Something that you'll get accustomed to quickly though. The paint and size of the bike are both impressive; I got the red/orange model and it looks fantastic, much better in person. The brakes were already adjusted, the bike shifts like it's supposed to....someone has done their homework and making it a very easy assembly process. Even the pedals were already installed on the bike, and just had to be unfolded. Edit: I now have 700 miles on the bike, and no issues so far. ... show more

    • So much fun
I am only giving this four stars and not five because I don’t know that this bike is for everyone. I absolutely love the bike and I’m having a terrific time riding. It is however heavy at about 65 pounds so as a female even though it folds up it’s difficult for me to load up into my car. Bike is well-built and easy to assemble. We are having lots of great adventures and able to go so much further than on a regular bike. Also with aging knees this has been perfect to not put too much strain on them.
