  • 2021 F150 King Ranch PowerBoost - towing with comfort and stability.
My 2021 King Ranch PowerBoost has a max payload of 1316 lbs (very low for a new truck) and I needed more assurance towing our 2022 Rockwood Minilite 2509S. Rockwood Minites are notorious for heavy tongue weight (850lbs RAW for a 6360 lbs trailer). I am running an E2 WDH 10,000lb and even though the hitch height is perfectly set (before adjusting the bars and washer), there is quite a bit of read sag, almost to the bottom. Simply put, I needed more assurance for the rear axle weight and support than the 2 leaf springs FORD has decided to move to with their ‘Max Trailer Tow Package’ and #7350 GVWR package. I swapped out the FX4 front and rear shocks for FOX 2.0 Ford Tuned from TC Customs, upgraded the tires (275 60R20) to an E Load tire (295 60R20). Now with my tire PSI set at 60 cold (max is 80), I needed more safety. Enter the RAS. I talked to RAS support and with the YHD they said max space can be set to 2.5mm, or a nickel and a dime thickness, which I did. Install was very easy, the added bump stop relocaters are helpful as well since the 2021 has the auto level headlight sensors on the rear drivers side axle that the RAS would have had issues with for the bump stop. Now loading up my trailer, tongue weight and WDH fully set, my front and rear wheel wells are at 40 1/2 (even) and the front axle has gained 40lbs over unloaded weight. The rear is still holding 600-700lbs but with the RAS I am towing with confidence and control. I am also added Timbren SES in place of the Stock Bump Stop for added towing comfort and control. If you are driving a 2021 F150, I highly recommend you install the RAS even if your towing is light. Loaded and unloaded the driving, comfort and control is vastly improved. Highly recommend 10/10. ... show more

  • A major difference on F150.
2019 Whippled F150 5.0L. Bilstein 5100 shocks all 4 wheels. Truck sat level pre Roadmaster. I purchased the HD version. Installation was a breeze. Took about 2 hours taking my time. Wow! My truck rides so much nicer and gained 1.5 inches of lift in the rear set with black disc. I like the little rake it brought back to the truck. With this system I can barely tell my 26 foot, 5000lb travel trailer is on the back. No sway, bumps are one and done, no bouncing. It made the ride and handling about 50% better all the way around. Best of all no hop and zero axle wrap when I launch it. The truck hooks right up! Imo these work better than traction bars without sacrificing ground clearance. For 550 bucks this took care of all my issues I wanted to solve. Only con was my hands got dirty. Get long jack stands if you don't have them. Oh USA made and 3 year warranty too! Just get them and you'll be very happy. ... show more

  • Easy install,
Installed the RAS on my 23 f150 tremor, absolutely improved the ride on the rough country roads that I travel daily. No more rear end hop, much more stable. No more excessive squat with my 8000lb trailer hooked to the truck. Could not be happier with the added capability, and improved ride this system gave my truck. I'm 67 and it took me about a hour and a half to install.,no problem. I highly recommend this system if you tow any thing, or travel rough roads frequently in a f150 Ford! ... show more

  • Easy to install
I installed RAS on my Ford F 150 it was easy to install and took less than an hour! I haul a 33’ half ton fifth wheel camper. Everything handled very well as I drove from NY to Florida. The truck also rides very smooth without the camper! I would recommend this product to anyone who is hauling a trailer!! ... show more

  • Stops or eliminates the pogo stick action
2017 F150 XLT crewcab. I got the heavy duty and adjusted to the lower setting. It did raise the back a couple inches. I do think I need new shocks but really helped the bounce and stability. It improved the unloaded ride also. They really do make a difference. They are expensive.

  • Seems to help
They do seem to help with Bunnyhop, on washboard Roads. They do help a little with side to side sway with my 2000 pound camper. If you have airbags, you may have to do some modification of The mounts which hold the airbags. That can be a lot of fun. Overall seems like a good product, and it’s made fairly beefy, easy to adjust. ... show more

  • Lives up to all the hype...
Have seen numerous references to the mysterious "RAS" on several F150 forums- I tow a 6000# travel trailer, the truck does an excellent job pulling it, but I kept experiencing "porpoising" of the trailer following subtle highway undulations. Spent about 45 minutes installing, and other than raising the rear bumper about an inch and a half, the RAS did not change the empy ride of the truck. Just completed a 750 mile road trip pulling the trailer and I have to say the truck has never felt so planted. Easily self-installed (I'm over 70 yrs old) in under an hour, and in my books, worth every dime. If you own one of the modern "half ton" trucks and tow a trailer occasionally, you need this addition. ... show more

  • Amazing upgrade. Improved handling.
Installation took me a little while longer as I’m a little slow and new to working on vehicles. After my swollen lug nuts were finally removed, I then removed my tires (had new lug nut ready). The fit was perfect, used the second hole. Truck seems a little quieter too. The handling seems better and I’m testing if there is a difference in speed too. I set the spring to the suggested max load. Truly a great quality and value for my money. One issue. When tightening the spring on the last side of the install, the male allen head came unglued from the allen female part. I was able to tap it back in to finish the install. But I’ll keep the allen head so it won’t fall out on the road. ... show more
