The X-Rap is a jerkbait meant to mimic an injured baitfish. Your success with the lure is going to depend on the action you impart with it. So if you're quite familiar with jerkbaits, you should be able to impart the proper cadence to catch fish. If you're a beginner, you might have to practice a bit before finding any kind of success. I get a good chuckle from reviews thinking this lure is no good because they didn't catch fish with it. Well, neither did I but it's still getting 5 stars because it seems to be well built and did put up with a good does of abuse when I accidentally didn't secure the hook to the rod and took off down the highway in my Jeep after leaving the beach. The poor thing flopped and banged around for a good 10 miles but was still in fine shape. Give it a try, there is a fish out there who will find it interesting. ... show more
