These French white half-tips by Ranrose work really well. They just cover the tips of the nails and feature a subtly angled, beveled edge that blends smoothly with your natural nail for a seamless, natural look. This design helps soften the transition between the nail tip and your natural nail, but it doesn’t completely eliminate it. After gluing on the tip, I find that I need to apply a base coat and buff it down a bit to create a flush surface before painting on the clear topcoat. I use mini "single-use" (0.5-gram) Superglue to attach the tips—it’s easy to use and holds securely. After gluing and buffing, I finish with a clear topcoat. (In the photo shown, I’m using a matte finish topcoat.) For prep, I use 80/100 grit nail buffers. These tips don’t look plastic or overly thick, and they are surprisingly durable, holding up through everyday tasks like washing dishes and gym workouts. Ok so I am going to list the pros and cons about these nail tips so its easier for others and the compny to understand what improvements need to be made. Pros: Despite how tiny and thin they were, I was able to put the tip just hanging off my real finger and glue it to my real nailbed and paint my polygel over it. It can be used as a nail form for poly gel. They have a nice tab on the end t make handling them easier. Cons: They are not wide enough even for my tiny fingers. Like other say.. they are child size. I understand they are tips, however there needs to be just a bit more on that back half so it can actually adhear to your nail. Other wise its just not wide enough. I had to use either thumb or the next to last one for all my fingers. The rest are way too small and waste of money. Overall its a great concept. I hope the manufacture can make them a bit wider for other culture shaped hands to use with just a tiny bit more length to work with. They can be used as nail forms, however you need to be intermediate to expert level to pull it off. If you do glue it on and pain your gel or acrylic or poly gel over it, please know there will be a line thats visible if yo use clear a base. ... show more

I work an office job, I’m generally not tough on my hands at all - especially if I just did my nails! These things do NOT stay on. I did my nails at night, went to bed, and by the morning - I’d maybe washed my hands once - they were already popping off. It’s also very obvious where the natural nail ends and the fake one starts. I tried multiple times with different products (including two different kinds of nail glue that work great for me if I’m using other nails), and same result - nails popping off, very obvious where the boundary was.
