  • If you’re a runner, try these out!
Size: X-Small Color: 1 Pair-yellow
I was worried these XS socks would be too big, but they are just small enough. If they were any bigger they would be too big. (In regular shoes, I’m size 6, running shoes or boots I’m size 7, sometimes in dress shoes I’ll be as low as 5.5. If your feet are smaller than mine, I’d recommend going down to the children’s version that this company sells.) I have always lived places where it either does not rain much or doesn’t rain hard, so I’ve never thought it was a big deal to just run with regular gear and maybe throw a rain shell over top. Every once in along while there would be a big storm and I’d get soaked to the bone, but no big deal. However, now I’m somewhere where when it rains it really rains and if I run in the rain, I’m going to get soaked. So, I’ve done that a bunch of times this year and done with it. I can’t wait to try these out on a run. Just testing them out so far, I can tell they won’t breathe well, but if they did, I’d be worried about their rainproof-ness LOL. If I have a choice between hot feet or soaked and freezing feet, I’d take the former. I’m a trail runner, so can’t wait to go splashing through puddles! If the socks do not live up to my expectations, I’ll update the review. By the way, I’m very picky with sock seams and not getting blisters, especially when it comes to running, and I think these seem like they’re going to be comfortable in that way. They are more bulky than my regular running socks, but I wear the ultrathin socks without padded toes or heels. I would say that the thickness is on par or thinner than the running socks I’ve tried on that have are padded. I tried these on with my running shoes and the shoes are more snug, but not to the point of needing to go up to the next shoe size or squishing my toes or feet. I chose these socks over a shorter pair of waterproof socks (both brands recommended by a runners world article) just because the shorter ones will not stop rain from going down inside the sock. These are waterproof and snug over the ankle, so I’m confident they will be great. I also love the bright yellow color for street running to make me more visible. Sorry for the ramble - I’m just really excited to try these out and wanted to make sure I addressed all of the comments other people have made and the questions I had before i bought them :) ... show more

  • These worked great!
Size: Medium Color: 2 Pairs-yellow+blue
My wife and I used these socks on an August 2023 trip to Norway. We used these socks twice on that trip. Once on a bike ride from Finse to Flam during Storm Hans, the worst storm to hit southern Norway in 25 years we were told. The other time was a hike to Trolltunga, which it rained for whole ascent to the top. In both cases these socks kept our feet dry and comfortable. These socks certainly got wet, but they kept to moisture away from our feet. We are both very happy with how well these socks performed and have been recommending them to our friends. ... show more

  • Waterproof to an extent
Size: Medium Color: 2 Pairs-yellow+blue
Did what I asked of them to be fair. I tested it in the tub before taking them out into the real world and I go kayaking multiple times a week. They were waterproof until the water level reached about halfway up my shin. Just where the main color meets the upper color is where the liner ends so I felt water begin to deep down my legs inside the socks. I stepped out of the tub and took them off and sure enough, my ankle was moist, not wet but not dry, and my feet were still dry. So I’d say they are good for hiking in water higher than the foot but not all the way up the sock. Did great and I didn’t expect them to stop water from getting in over the top so they did what they were supposed to do and nothing more. Hopefully this helps! ... show more

  • Works great
Size: Large Color: 1 Pair-black&gray
I wore these golfing after 3 days of rain and subsequent frost. My feet were dry after 3 hours of slushing around on the course. The inside of my shoes were soaked, however my feet stayed dry. Fit well. I did size up per suggestions from previous reviews. Fot well in my shoe and kept my feet dry.

Kept feet dry and warm during winter, wet bike rides and hikes. Good product. Fit is good, but socks a bit bulky.

  • Definetly worth it. kept my feet dry (mostly) during a Spartan Beast
Size: X-Small Color: Gray&black-1 Pair
if you are doing any kind of sport or race where your feet will get wet and dirty, get these. My feet were dry for the most part during a Spartan Beast. water still came in but at least i didn't have any dirt particles, mud and debris. Totally worth it. Keep in mind that they are not fully waterproof (it be impossible to have that) and that they are a bit thick but still better than regular socks. ... show more

  • not quite up to expectations
Size: Small Color: Ankle-1 Pair Gray
I got those for a trip to Iceland. I did not want to spend lots of money and use up valuable carry-on space on water-proof hiking boots so these socks looked like a good substitute for a rainy day hike. Unfortunately, they did not live up to the expectations. While my feet did technically stay dry inside my eventually soaking wet sneakers, they (the feet) still felt terribly cold. In fact, I wasn't sure whether they were dry until I took off the socks and touched the feet because it felt like they were wet. Nope, just cold, but the lack of thermal isolation kinda defeated the purpose. ... show more
