  • You get what you pay for.
I read the other reviews before buying this set so my expectations were low already. Because I am not looking for a fancy grocery getter Jeep mod, I don't mind that they look a little worse than OEM. I certainly wasn't paying for a premium set from other brands either. Here is the honest truth about this set...they protect your rollbar a LITTLE and give a finished look compared to having naked bars. The material is NOT black denim or anywhere close to a fabric that will hold up over time. The sewing on them is atrocious and they split easily (see picture). Why do they split? Because the very thin foam used was poorly tacked in and when sliding over the bar the ends catch and leaves a big clump of foam. Which reminds me, the foam is about as thick as tissue paper and just as durable. The quality of material tells me this probably won't last a year. The bars going from your windshield to the crossbar need to be removed because they didn't design this cover with a zipper like dummies. With a few minor changes this could be a decent product. To remove your rollbar cross support you need a T45 security hex that you can grab from Harbor freight cheaply. Okay, now the good parts...I knew it was a cheap set. If I have to replace the covers again at least now I have a pattern I can use. It provides a little finish look hiding all the scratches from where my soft top frame has caught the rollbars over the years. If you want an OEM replacement, this is not it. If you want a basic and non-lasting cover as a temporary fix this will do. ... show more

  • Rampage Roll bar covers
These sport bar covers are great, worth the price, and simple to install. They make old Jeeps look new again. The only problem I've found with these is the covers for the bars that go to the windshield. The foam padding inside must be removed or they will not fit. This could just be because I believe my Wrangler was built like no other. I have had many other problems that other Wrangler owners never experienced. Either way, that roll bar covers are definitely worth what Amazon sells them for. ... show more

  • Obviously made in China - Nothing fits.
This was the least expensive roll bar cover kit I found for my Jeep Wrangler TJ. I now understand why. This roll bar cover kit does not fit a '97 Jeep Wrangler TJ Sport well at all. The front window support covers do not have zippers so in order to install the covers on the front window support bars 8 bolts must be removed, the windshield tilted forward and the covers pulled over the bars. These covers have 2 large holes in them, one for the last bolt to be replaced but I have no idea what the other is for. The covers are also about 3 inches short of covering the entire length of the bars and are so small in diameter that i had to spray WD40 on the bars to help slide the covers on. The other 3 cover pieces went on with out too much problem except once again the just don't fit. The holes for the seat belts don't line up and the covers have big gaps in coverage where the main roll bar and the 2 back bars meet. The last and most disappointing part of the whole kit is the 2 back roll bar covers are so short they leave 10" of the bar uncovered and once again the holes for the seat belts don't line up for any of the bolts. The one thing I do like is the color. At least out of the box the black color is very nice and matches the bikini top (Rampage 94215 Denim Black Topper with Pocket) that I purchased and installed at the same time. I would not recommend this item to anyone. I might take it off, return it and try another kit. ... show more

  • Pain in the a$$
After installed they looked great, however installation was a real pain. I read the reviews where it said they went on with ease, but they did not. I had to remove all of the soft top frame to get these on. Some pieces were easy as they had a zipper, but the zippers were very hard to start. If these never ever need removed, they look good, as so far the fabric seems it will be pretty durable; however, prepare for a whole afternoon for install, it took approximately 4 hours. ... show more

  • Rollbar padding
Wouldn't buy again. When putting it over the bars going across the doors padding just crumble and get bunched up. Just got to the point I just ripped out the padding for those sections.

  • Nice Looking Product/No Instructions
I bought this product to install on my 1997 jeep wrangler. Unfortunately, it came with no instructions and it was not seeming to fit no matter what I tried. Ended up returning it for a full refund.

  • Good product, especially for the price.
Not really sure why others rate this so poorly. Good quality for the price. The foam does tear easily, but doesn't matter once its on, and difficulty installing is due to having to remove the seat belts which is not the product's fault. Only modification I had to make was cutting some foam out to make it fit under the sound bar. ... show more

  • Looks over Function
You get what you pay for. The padding ripped while going on the roll cage. It looks great but the padding is cheap and flimsy. Probably will have to replace soon
