I really needed a lightbox so I could take professional looking pictures for my small jewelry and crafts business. After searching through several different products I settled on this one because of it's ability to collapse and take up such a small amount of space when not in use. Living in a tiny apartment, space is important. The light box is not only easy to set up, but the lights inside help me take the perfect pictures to display my products without having a huge setup. I use my Nikon, but this lightbox would be great for any camera, even those on iPhones or other mobile devices. I enjoy how easy it is to change out the color backgrounds, which are made of a nice sturdy material, as well as the ability to take pictures head on or from above. This is my very first light box and I'm so excited! OK so I'm that mom who is always cutting people's heads off in pics LOL. This is so sad because my daughter has her own photography business! LOL. So I'm trying to get better at taking pics and I thought this little light box was just the perfect thing for me to play around with practicing taking stills of stuff and then learning how to edit... I'm happy this is simple to set up and fold down to store, has the adjustable LED lights in it already, has the diff colored backgrounds to use, lightweight and can mobile... my daughter agreed this is a good one for me to start with. I still need to get a tripod for my camera to mount because it seems I have a problem holding it steady LOL. Maybe that's why I cut everyone's heads off? LOL I have some nice black velvet jewelry stands to put pieces on so I can practice too. I think this is a great way to properly showcase them! Regular price $39.99 per the listing and on sale $29.99 plus there's a 5% off coupon. I don't have any experience with these things prior, but I think it's a good pricepoint. The 16”x12” photo studio light box is a handy little setup for anyone looking to up their product photography game without breaking the bank. It’s portable and easy to set up, making it perfect for quick shoots or when you need a dedicated space for taking clean, professional-looking photos. The light inside is bright and evenly distributed, which helps to eliminate those pesky shadows and gives everything a nice, crisp look. I’ve been able to capture some decent shots right off the bat, and the results definitely have a polished feel compared to snapping pics without it. The only hiccup I’ve noticed is that the included backgrounds are a bit long, so they don’t quite fit seamlessly inside the box. It’s not a dealbreaker, though—I’m planning to trim them down to fit better, just haven’t gotten around to testing that out yet.     • Makes a big difference.
Never had a light box before. Now, I'm glad I do. It takes less than a minute to put it together with Velcro strips on most sides. The Velcro holds the box together well but mine does have some small gaps between the sides. It's no problem for photography though. The LED lighting is nice and bright and can be adjusted to match the brightness you need. The different color backgrounds add variety to your photos, especially the green which can be manipulated with editing software to almost anything.     • Great size for small items
We set this up so my friend could take pics of all her pins she collects and sells, and it was the perfect size for that. Provides a nice box that you can light evenly inside. The only trouble is that some supplemental lights make the box really hot inside, so if you were photographing something that might melt with enough heat, you have to be careful. The lights that are preinstalled inside the box are a nice touch, but we did find it necessary to add a little extra, and sometimes we wanted different colored lights, which this box doesn't do. I love that it came with different backdrop colors tho. It was easy to assemble and breaks down for storage or portability easily too. At only $30 (at time of review) you can take some really professional product pictures for a decent price. ... show more
