I purchased this blade and put it on the drivers side. I then put a Bosch icon on the right. As always I wanted the best. I read many articles claiming the Bosch and Raines were both good, so I purchased both. The rain x had 3 unique characteristics. It always performed worse and streaked. The Bosch icon did not. The rain x assembly rusted. The Bosch icon did not. The rain x fell apart. This was only after 1 year and maybe 5000 miles of driving over a winter in Ohio. Had them about 2 weeks now. (this applies for both 19" & 24" wipers) We had a couple of days of heavy rain and they are working well. Just some info for you: If you have the large J hook wiper arms then you have to use the attachment that comes with the blades. It took me a while to figure that out when installing them. Make sure the hooks snap into place when pulling back on the blades. I didn't hear a snap the first time and when I tested them one of the wipers went flying across the street. It was beautiful to watch. It spun over and over in an arc as I gaped at it with open mouth. ... show more

Before these Rain X, I had splurged and bought Bosch Icon wipers which were fantastic and lasted 3 years. Time finally came when I needed to replace them, and felt like I should economize and bought Rain X. At first they were okay, but squeaked and didn’t clear the windscreen as well as the Bosch. Okay, I didn’t expect them to perform as well for the price, but after just a few months...oh boy! Such a disappointment! These blades did not hold up. They streaked and left a film that made it hard to see in certain light. I won’t be buying these again. I’ll spend double the money and get four times the value and life!! ... show more

It’s very hot and dry here in the high desert and the rubber on my wipers doesn’t last long… even on expensive blades so I stopped paying too much just to see them dry rot. These were about 15-bucks per pair and they do the job on my ’99 Expedition and I also put the same brand on my ’90 Chevy pickup and when they start to deteriorate I won’t shed a tear over what I paid. They are budget wipers and if you’re a wiper junkie then these will be a disappointment. All I expect is the occasional window washer because it never rains here in the summer and these do little to remove snow but once scrapped off they do keep the windshield (and rear window) pretty clean without a lot of streaks. Now matter how much I spend on blades at least once a year I have the rubber pulling away on the ends so they become useless on the portion of the windshield that wraps around toward the side view mirrors so if I have to replace them every year I’m not spending a lot to do so. ... show more

These Rain-X wipers are great! We are using them on our Toyota Sienna and they work effectively for clearing rain, snow, and road debris. The blades stay pliable in hot, cool and cold conditions and work properly to clean the windows. These Rain-x wipers are also pretty good in the lifespan department, lasting longer than economy blades. They seldom squeak or streak (maybe sometimes during the first few passes but that is not uncommon for any blade) and they install and uninstall very easily on just about every passenger car with their dual included arm adapter clip. Overall, these wipers work well, last decently long and are available in most sizes at an affordable price. When you need them in crummy weather, these blades will not let you down. ... show more

I bought this for my 2015 Honda CRV, based upon the Amazon recommendation. It didn’t fit my Rear Windshield Wiper at all. I am fairly handy (can change tires, oil, etc) but it wouldn’t fit, even after almost an hour of trying. I threw it out and replaced it with the Rain-X Latitude 14” that had the universal adapter. One easy click and 30 seconds later, I was ready to go! I recommend that Amazon changes their recommendations from the 13” Weatherbeater to the 14” Latitude due to the universal adapter for this vehicle. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Once you're able to replace your old windshield wiper blade (this is a little bit complicated ...I had the guys who change my oil help me out lol), you find that the new one does a pretty good job. Included in the box is three different attachments, so it'll be compatible with many different windshield wiper arms. Ever since I bought my car (a 2004 Ford Taurus!!) the windshield wipers have squeaked. I have put new ones on several times...and they still drove me crazy. After replacing both wipers with Rain-X ones I haven't heard squeaking anymore (check out my video). I've had the driver's side blade for about a year, and it's still working very well. Since I purchased this, I've driven in both heavy rain and a moderate snowfall and my windshield stayed clear. ... show more

    • Good wipers and easy install on my F-150

Rain-X has recently been doing some serious television advertising on their wipers which I have used before. My 2014 Ford F-150 has two 22” wiper blades and the install took less than 5 minutes using no adapters. Be sure you measure both blades on your vehicle because sometimes the two are different lengths. Now I have read some reviews stating that these blades don’t hold up well, but there are many weather factors at play here. If your vehicle stays outdoors in the sun or freezing weather that is a huge factor. I recommend using a good glass cleaner every month or so to clean your windshield and I don’t mean a household cleaner. There are glass cleaners specifically made for vehicles which prevent spotting and provide a smooth surface for your wipers. All wiper blades are not easy, but if you take your time you can figure it out. ... show more
