One side of this tool is a slide chart used for calculating superheat for a NON-TXV system and the other side is a slide chart used to calculate subcooling on a TXV system. The photo shows both sides of the tool. This tool is made of thick durable water resistant paper stock with corner rivets. I love these charts for their size and simplicity. They are small enough to fit inside your temp probe box tucked out of the way and very easy to read. I also like the fact that they have general dry bulb to wet bulb calculations written right on there for you to use, so under normal humidity/ conditions, they are very easy to use. They are pretty sturdy as well and don't wear down like other slide charts I've used. I would buy them again. ... show more

    • This is small, thin, and pocket size.... a reasonable price too.
One side gives the simple superheat numbers and the other side is the super cool side. Just that simple. It could not be easier to use, and the price is about normal. If you need a simple pocket reference, you will like it well enough. I gave it only 4 stars because it is made of the hard "paper type" material that will not stand up to on-the-job abuse well. It will require that you treat it well or the outside will deteriorate rather quickly. However, if you keep it in your shirt pocket or in a clean dry place where the lettering on the outside does not get rubbed off, you will get years of good service from this! Enjoy. ... show more
