The Dress is great and I’m keeping it. But I got a small and it is a bit big in the back. Also the dress I got isn’t the same as the dress I ordered. The material shown on Amazon shows a Swiss dot fabric with three tiers and my dress has neither of those. Also in the photos on Amazon the bow in the back looks like extra but you have to tie to bow to hold the dress up on your body. That’s the part that was actually too big for me I’m 32 weeks pregnant so I thought maybe I should get a medium instead of my normal size small and I’m glad I got the small bc a medium just wouldn’t have worked. ... show more

    • Dress made me a frumpy mess!

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure how this dress has so many great reviews AND pictures of women looking absolutely amazing. I felt like a frumpy mess because it was too big, not flattering anywhere, and just overall a mess. I'm US 12/14, 38DD and ordered both XL and L. XL - I ordered this size because I have bigger arms and didn't want the elastic digging into my skin. I usually order XL for a looser fit and this was HUGE. Like, I felt like I was wearing a parachute. Nothing fit well and the dress was basically eating me up, so I returned it and ordered L (per the reviews that said the fabric stretches). L - STILL WAY TOO BIG AND SMALL AT THE SAME TIME. The arms felt incredibly short and I don't have long arms. I had to either pull the sleeves to my elbows and deal with bunched up fabric at my arms giving the illusion of BIGGER ARMS, or let it sit where it would sit naturally and be at an awkward and slightly uncomfortable length. The chest was also way too big. If I bent over, you could basically see the bra I was wearing because that's how much it gapped. Don't get me started on the overall fit. Very night gown-y even with the bow tied in the back. I'm jealous that this dress worked SO WELL on other women and I wish it fit the same way on me. Oh well. The pros: the blue cotton fabric is actually quite nice. It's a nice lightweight dotted cotton and it would be wonderful for a hot summer day. Not too sheer, semi-lined between waist and knee. Sleeves are voluminous with the right amount of elastic. The cons: the "sash" is attached to the bust which is a useless place to be attached - it should be under the bust. The smocked top was actually looser than I'd anticipated and didn't provide support -- which is unfortunate because even when you wear the sleeves up, you can't wear a bra with the dress. If the sash was in the correct place, I probably would have kept the dress and tried made it work for casual summer wear. But re-sewing it seemed like too much for the quality and the slightly unflattering bust. ... show more

First: the fit is pretty nice! I’m normally an XS so was worried about wearing a small but it worked out. It’s loose everywhere but the top is fitted enough for me! I don’t like anything too tight so it’s comfy. Secondly: it’s not beige. The first photo shows this supposedly “beige” dress in front of my cream walls and curtains. Second photo is elsewhere for another comparison. It’s a nice peachy nude at best. But essentially looks like someone washed a beige dress with a red garment. It’s an off pink not beige. I specifically needed a BEIGE dress for an event so this won’t work unfortunately. Super comfy and cute though. Despite the nice fit and look, it’s only two stars because the color is not what was advertised. Ignore the hanger size in the photos, it’s just what i had. The dress is a small. ... show more

It’s a great color and style but it does run pretty big so I recommend sizing down. I’m 160lbs 5’2 and the M was too big on the arms/neck and it made me look pregnant. The sinching part on the top it’s only on the boobs, it would be more flattering it it went down to the waist. Not too sheer either. Overall it’s nice, I’m still gonna wear it. ... show more
