The media could not be loaded. I can’t get too much into specs and software. So, in layman’s terms, I will share you some of my experience playing on this device. The fans on that device have a very noticeable whining to them. But increase your volume enough and you can easily drown them out, lol. The picture or video clip I included in this review is a clip of me playing ffxiv online, after having installed it and after I tweaked with the settings. It is quite heavy. After holding it in your hands for a while, you will really feel it. Not too much of a battery life. Playing ffxiv online without power, battery lasted maybe 2 hours before getting battery low warning. It will run games like ffxiv online. For that to work smoothly at a consistent 30.0 fps, I had to dial resolution down to 1080, turn off shadows and reflections, and minimize draw distance and bloom. It will play games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. For that to run at consistent 30 fps, I had to dial resolution down to 720, while turning off shadows and reflections. I kept maximized environmental detail and textures thought to keep the game “pretty.” It will play and do everything and anything that a desktop computer of the same equivalent can play or do. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this handheld console as a device to use in my off time. What's not to like about such a thing. Small, great resolution screen, powerful CPU/GPU able to play modern games and old ones. Great size storage. BUT.. What good is a handheld gaming console if the controller just stopped working all of a sudden? Like a nintendo switch with no way to control anything in the games. This was the second time I tried purchasing a OneXPlayer 1S, and both units had an issue where the controllers would disconnect all of sudden on their own from the computer. The normal "xbox controller" would no longer appear in the device manager, and an unknown device would appear. A constant connecting and disconnecting of a new device sound would occur. (beeping sounds until you shut it off.) When I contacted their support, there was only a simple message asking me to return it to Amazon. No attempt to assist me or diagnose the issue. Personally I have over 30 years of experience with computers and my first job as a teenager was working as a computer repair technician. I wasn't ready to open this unit up and void the warranty in an attempt to find a fix, etc. It's not my job to do that on a brand new unit. This second unit had the controller fail and disappear 2 days after my Amazon return window expired. The manufacturer never replied to offer a path for warranty service. Because there is none. I contacted Amazon support to assist, and an exception had to be made because Amazon saw I wasn't getting any warranty support. (much better than me being stuck with an expensive non working device.) It's beautiful, can hold a lot of games. Performs well too. A couple of gripes would be the cooling fans being loud, but there's a silent mode for that. The rumble motors... They sound like a trip to the dentist to be honest. I was willing to accept that because I use headphones, but.. I couldn't take a unit without a working controller. Before purchasing please take a look at reddit topic r/OneXPlayer, there you can find the discord channel for the OneXPlayer too. You'll see almost weekly reports of controllers disappearing.. Rumble motors going mad, screen problems, quality issues. Realize that your only recourse is an amazon return, or.. possibly sending the device to China for repair. (If they respond to your warranty requests.) There was no reason to ignore my valid request to seek out warranty service for a failing controller on my device. I dodged a bullet by contacting Amazon customer service and presenting all these details. If I hadn't I'd be stuck with an expensive paperweight or at best a tablet that constantly beeps. ... show more

Great portable system but be aware the battery life on heavy games will be around 2 hours of playing and honestly there is not difference between the Intel and the amd 4800 ... I did tried both and if you using it as a portable the AMD version is fine and you will not notice a difference ... so far playing games smoothly and run perfect some medium and others high setting and not a problem I like the One X player ... is a great portable system to use... ... show more
