  • Just what we needed
Color: Black
Plenty of space and easy to set up. Great product for the money.

  • Time will tell
Color: Black
I recently bought this cover for my Indian Springfield motorcycle. I bought the large as the small would have been too snug a fit for my bike. My bike is about 105 in x 40 in. It seems study enough and so far held up to 25-30 knot winds. I just happened to put this up in during those types of winds. It took me longer than it should have due to a few bad illustrations in the instructions and the increased time due to using thread lock on every nut. I did see some of the problems that other reviewers saw and a couple of others. First off, the reviews about the nuts coming off is/will be true. They will back out on you over time and cause you to tighten them often. Two nuts were missing due to this as almost all were just about off the bolts when I opened the box. I assumed this happened during shipping. So, you can either buy lock nuts not lock washers (probable the best method: 1/4 - 28) or get thread lock (this creates it's own problem if you need to remove the nuts later). Don't over tighten as the frame arms have to move. As for waterproof, it is for the most parts but as some have stated it will leak. As I put the cover on, I noticed that at every Velcro seam I could see dots of daylight. Meaning water will come in. I plan on getting a spray sealant for this and go from there. The instructions: The pictures in part 1 and 2 are wrong, which confused me for a bit until I figured out the illustrations were backwards in regards to the base not the pole arms and locations. In the illustrations, it shows two holes on each frame base located on the end towards what they are calling the rear of the shelter or in the direction of the arrows (where the short poles are). This is incorrect. The two holes on each support base are at the other end towards the longer pole legs or Front. These are the holes to bolt on items J for the ability to lock down the cover. So after adding supports E on each side, ensure that these two holes are located on the other end of the base away from where items E were bolted. The second things I notice which was more an assumption on my part, there isn't anyway to hold the base down once assembled. I thought the bar that goes across item D as a location to place the front tire for weight but it isn't, too short. Some of the other manufacture shelters have this bar for the front tire, this does not. You need to bolt this thing down or it could move during weather. There are mounting holes. I have landscaping bricks doing it for now but I plan on building a short platform to mount to and get my bike off the ground. It should also cut down the possibility of wind getting under and turning this into a kite. Last thing to add is the security of the shelter. There isn't any in my opinion. That lock they give you can be cut in seconds with just about any tool with a cutting edge. You can"t get a real lock into the hole as there is no room. So, you need to secure your bike in another fashion. Will update in a few months as weather changes. ... show more

  • Better Than Expected after Six Months of Bad Weather
Color: Black
This review is being written after six months of use, it's for the large size storage cover. Assembly was a simple one-man job requiring about an hour to complete. The metal frame could be heavier, but it's not too difficult to add extra supports to the tubes even after assembling the tent. There was sufficient cloth material at the bottom front section where the shelter contacts the ground to add an additional bar that extends out about a foot on each side. This bar is drilled and padlocked to pegs embedded in the pad where I installed the shelter. The added bar keeps the shelter front section from lifting in high winds plus it adds a modicum of security. Also I added tiedown loops to the rear half of the frame and embedded them in the concrete base pad. The center frame section where the support tubes are attached is also fastened to the pad and I placed added concrete weights over the back half of the frame so it couldn't lift off the pad in bad weather. Once the shelter was erected, I sprayed the entire fabric cover with a flexible rubber to improve weather protective qualities and hopefully to extend the life of the shelter. The shelter is housing a Triumph Tiger 800 which has factory panniers and top case. With bags mounted it's a tight squeeze backing the bike in to the shelter but I have enough space to remove the bags first and store them in the back section of the shelter. I'm not sure how well this would work with a 900 pound bagger with bags that aren't as easy to dismount. During the half-year since I bought and assembled the shelter, we've had literally weeks of 30 to 40 knot winds and the heaviest rain fall ever recorded during the monsoon season in SE Arizona. The shelter fabric shows no sign of tearing loose from its frame nor are there any areas ripping apart. I'm quite pleased with the device's ability to withstand inclement weather AFTER reinforcing the support frame and ensuring that the unit is well anchored and the fabric covering received additional attention. Owners who are willing to spend a bit of additional time and money improving this shelter will likely be pleased with it. ... show more

  • Very good customer service
Color: Black
I have had this motorcycle shelter since 2019 and it was time for a replacement cover/canopy after the current one ended up ripping after a storm. I contacted Quictent directly to see if there was an option to buy a replacement cover. After verifying my original order and making sure they had the correct information, they sent out a replacement cover for a very reasonable price that included very fast shipping. I worked with Jasmine and was very happy with the responsiveness and politeness throughout our conversations. Thanks again! ... show more

  • Not bad- could be better
Color: Black
I am using this to house my 2010 Harley Road King. I do not have a garage:(. I had a similar shelter with an integrated floor. Lasted 3 years. This year the snow/ice killed it. I would have preferred a shelter with a bit more protection from the elements. but you get what you pay for. I have yet to find a real good solution for a temporary garage that will fit in my driveway. The product performs as advertised. I do not have it anchored down , but did fasten it to my floor from the old shelter. Withstood 40-50MPH winds. Time will tell how it stands up to rain and snow, but if I get 3 years out of it, I'm a happy camper. One recommendation: when you buy it, invest in about 18- 1.5" bolts with nylon nuts. Otherwise they just fall off.. The instructions suck. No surprise there. I do not lock it. That's why I have insurance. Will update review as necessary. April 8 2021- The company was very concerned and refunded me for my time and parts- earned then a fourth star ... show more
