At first opening of the package, I was really disappointed that the wig looks NOTHING like the picture of the product. Not even close. I decided to try it on and play around with it a bit and in doing so I made the decision to keep it. I figured I could trim it and shape it and the color, although not what I was hoping for, wasn't bad, and for the price if it didn't work out--no big loss. I should have taken a photo of the wig before I trimmed it but frankly I couldn't see the front was so long. I took A LOT off the front of this wig. I can't stand hair in my eyes, especially synthetic hair, so I trimmed those bangs up. However because of the size of the wig, I can adjust the front further down making the bangs appear longer if I want. This wig is BIG. I had to cut the side tabs off--they should have hit at the temples but ended up covering my ears. Also the tightening straps are sewn in incorrectly so they don't properly hook together unless you twist them. I found them to be useless as they made the back ride up the neck and back of the head because of the way they are installed on the cap. Not using those either. Instead I use a hair cap and a velvet band to hold the wig in place and they work best. The wig has far more dark hair than the silvery gray depicted but the coloration isn't bad. I ended up washing (with a synthetic wig shampoo and leave-in conditioner) That made it a bit easier to work with but the hair texture is VERY inconsistent. The back is a very stiff texture and has a tendency to flip out away from the neck because of the way the wefts and neckline are made. As you can see in my last photo, the back is very choppy but only on the one side and I did not trim the back at all, YET. But I will be to try and make it lay properly. In the 4th and 5th photos you can kind of see the machine tease and the main cap center point that looks like really fake hair whorl. I will be working that area more to make the hair spikier and more natural looking. One reviewer said this wig is 'thin'. Not at all. It has a lot of hair in it however the wefts are very widely spaced. Because of that spacing the wig hair tends to get inside the cap so it needs to be pulled back out before wearing. You would think the wig would be cool to wear given all that weft spacing but NOPE, it's hot--even in an airconditioned house it's hot to wear. Overall, for the price, not bad if you have the time, patience and ability to work on it, you can make it look pretty good. It is not high quality but it's also not high cost. ... show more

I bought this wig because I'm letting my hair grow out right now it's naturally short but it just needs to rest I've colored it and it's damaged so I just need to give it a rest so I'm doing the wig thing right now and this one I actually like I mean I had planned on returning it I'm thinking there's no way I'm going to like this but it's really you can style it so many different ways I probably will end up getting another one the same style because I will say the top like we're the part comes together it's kind of for loss of any other words I will say matted but it doesn't look too bad cuz I took a comb and I brushed it out but I mean you can wear so many different ways it fits my head perfect I can tuck it behind my ears I mean I've had lots of compliments so overall it's a great wig for the price. ... show more

One of my other wigs was priced over $300. The other less expensive wig from Amazon gets compliments also, but this blonde wig is everyone’s favorite. The quality is OK. I normally buy very high end wigs that are lace front and mono part with heat friendly fibers. They retail $425-499. But I get them on sale for roughly $175. However I felt like this style I could get away without the lace front & mono part. At least try it on a cheap wig before I invest more money on a nice one. Well after buying this I realize this is good enough for me! I won't have to buy an expensive one at this point. The wig is a basic cap construction with permatease throughout and no part. It's lightly rooted dark ash blonde and has a balayage effect with platinum highlights that intensify at the tips. I was worried the wefts might show in the back because it's so short but it has full coverage. I have shoulder length hair so I have luck using a wig grip to keep my baby hairs up off my neck and it keeps the wig on nice. You can style this wig a lot of different ways because the fibers hold pretty well. But I also used wax spray which was awesome for hold. You do have to really style it if you want it to do something other than how it ships, but it's very doable. I'm good at styling hair and wigs and I manipulated the fibers for big volume and a side swept look using some teasing at the crown and wax spray. Have fun and go for it. ... show more
