  • Perfect and Light Weight
Color: Natural Size: 4 Pack
Purchased for my classroom to do in the wall behind my desk. Perfect purchase. They were a lot thinner than I thought but perfect for the space.

  • Thin but displays well
Color: Natural Size: 4 Pack
Very easy to use. Push the pins in and go. Comes with adhesive stickers to attach to wall. Had a slightly weird smell at first but went away quickly. Color is your basic cork color. Appearance once complete is great. Durability seems a little flimsy but once attacked to wall it’s solid. The only thing I had an issue with is the fit of the pins on the cork. It’s pretty thin so the backs of pins poke through and touch the walls. Liked them with thicker felt and it’s solid. ... show more

  • Good counter top protector!
Color: Natural Size: 8 Pack
I like the cork squares. Some years ago I brought some cork plate mats at idea and I liked them. So after using them for a while, I decided to reuse them. I needed something to protect my counter top for the heat from my toaster oven and coffee maker. I had the round cork pads, but it would not cover the whole surface. So I used the plate mats and it worked fine. Now I live in a apartment complex and I still have my mats. I needed more for the counter top here at my apartment. I looked for them at ikea, but they no longer have them. I searched all around for cork and none of the stores had plain sheets of cork. Not until I checked Amazon and they have packaged squares. I bought one package and used it on my shelf for my coffee maker and air fryer. When you live in a apartment, there's not much counter space, so you have to go up. I bought a shelf unit that elevate and I can put things under it. So I need more cork for the rest of my counters. So when I decide to move forward into a new house again. I want to be able to get my security deposit back. I have 3 more packages of cork in my cart, to finish up my kitchen and to have extra in case I need to change them. I like cork. ... show more

  • It's Okay
Color: Natural Size: 8 Pack
Bought 10 packs of these to create a "cork wall" in one of our offices. The quality of the cork is pretty good. It is NOT dry or crumbly. And with a sharp razor blade, it cuts beautifully. Right out of the box, though, I noticed there would a few issues. Seems that the individual packs were stored on their side and not flat. This caused a curve in every pack. The only cure for that curve was to lay them all flat (I just stacked all 10 packs into a mini tower) and put a weight on top. Took 48 hours for the curve to press out. Next, the packaging does not explicitly state the thickness of each tile. When you look at the photo on the front of each pack, you see these tiles mounted on to a wall with papers held on using push pins. I assumed the thickness of each tile would accommodate the length of a push pin. I was wrong. These tiles are 1/8" thick. A standard push pin has a shaft length of just a hair over 1/2". This means that each push pin can have 3/8" of its shaft poking thru the back of the tile. If you are mounting these on a hard surface (concrete or brick will), you will need to triple up on each tile in order for you to be able to fully insert a push pin. If you have dry wall, just know that you will be pinning into the wall as well. Should not be too big of a concern if you are permanently attaching these tiles to the wall. Which brings me to my last point...the little double sided tape included to mount these tiles to a wall. You are given enough to put a small square of double sided tape to each corner of each tile. That is it. IMO, this is not sufficient. Using only the tape in the 4 corners, I noticed the tiles were prone to bulging in the center and/or at the center of each side. Multiple attempts yielded the same result. I recommend going all out and buying Liquid Nails from any hardware store or some 3M 21210 Super 77 Spray Adhesive. I went this route and the tiles laid flat, stuck well, and the wall looks amazing. UPDATE: After 2 weeks on the wall, half of the tiles have fallen off. I had to scrap the double sided tape off the wall and ended up using Liquid Nails and 3/4" staples to hold the cork securely. My gut told me from the beginning that this would be the best way, but I needed to see if the materials supplied would work or not. So they do not. Plan on buying your own adhesives if you are permanently affixing these tiles to a wall. I am not changing my initial 3 star rating because these tiles are still "Just Okay" in my book. ... show more

  • Perfect to create blacktop for 1:64 scale parking lot
Color: Natural Size: 4 Pack
Holy moly Batman, who would’ve thought painting cork board is a multi-step process! After I watching a few videos on creating a blacktop parking lot for my diorama, and trying out a few options, I settled on just using black paint with Mod Podge mixed in. I needed to do several layers, but it dried quickly and evenly, even though I didn’t paint it evenly. I think it came out well for a Newbie. The first image is a mix of sand from my driveway, Mod Podge and black paint. The second and last images are just Mod Podge and black paint. ... show more
