If you've looked at the specialty items made to manage jigsaw puzzles, you probably found that the offerings are expensive and shoddily made. I bought the 2x3-foot cork board because it will have room for me to place and sort my pieces outside of a 1000 piece puzzle border. I can use it on my bed, table, or floor, pick it up easily to move it without losing pieces, and slide it under my bed or living room couch to hide it away. The cork board has a raised frame and is attractive and well-made. It was packaged beautifully and with care, and arrived with Superman speed. ( I'm saving the custom-fit box for secure storage when the board is not in use.) If I were the manufacturer, I would look at this alternative use as a marketing opportunity... I don't leave many reviews, but perhaps another jigsaw puzzler will find this interesting. (Of course, it can also be used as a bulletin board...hardware and instructions included. Mine has a black frame and looks great.) ... show more

So first off I want to say this is literally the cheapest cork board I could find! Not cheap like “bad” but cheap like I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on it! So for $16 I got a two foot by three foot board that meets my needs. 21 1/2 inch by 33 1/2 inch is the internal measurements of the actual cork part. This is so much better that the really expensive ones that cost twice or three times as much for the same size and pretty much have the same stars as this one. I took a chance and it is great for me. All in all this is a great board if you just need something to pin notes to. I used to use sticky notes but they just keep falling off my wall. So now I can pin them to this. Funny enough the sticky notes also stick to this better than my wall so I’m happy. Some reviews say things such as the board is too thin and it has cardboard on the back. Yes these are true but I have had no problem with it. I did not use the screws and such that it comes with because I don’t like putting holes in my walls and other people complained about the hanging device anyways. I hung mine with Velcro Command Strips, one on each corner and one in the middle of the top and bottom. I also found that this holds it in place therefor it won’t move or swing and it creates a bit more space between the cork, cardboard and my wall so that makes me happy. As you can see from my photos I pinned some stuff with thumb tacks as well as pushpins. And on the right are my sticky notes that haven’t lost all their stickiness. Hope this helps. ... show more
