I needed a rocking chair for my living room and this one looks great for the space, but the only thing about it is that it’s super hard to put together the holes don’t line up but got it to work with pushing it and trying to make it work.

Very comfortable. They are quiet when rocking. The assembly...holes are not aligned, 3 women couldn't get the enough strength to align the bolts with holes. One major muscle bound dude did it!

The quality of the chair itself is great, it’s absolutely beautiful and so soft. However the holes on the bottom of the seat do not even remotely line up….there was no strong arming this to put it together. We are going to buy some short screws tomorrow and attempt to just screw it in. Fingers crossed it works because we got this for the nursery and baby could come any day now. ... show more

I bought this chair for my Mom who just moved into a care facility. I decided to put it together there. Big mistake! I stripped the allen wrench itself, just by putting the legs on the rockers. It was very soft metal. I had a hard time lining up the back of the chair to the bottom. There are thin metal poles near the armrest as well as two screws that need to be put in. I finally gave up, and in frustration threw the top of the chair into my car. Somehow tossing it made the poles engage, because when I got home I was suddenly able to screw the back onto the chair. I used a drill to put the rocker legs on. I struggled with them as well. I finally used brute force. You will need more than an allen wrench to put this together, unless you have another person to help hold the chair, and a better allen wrench. Yes I am a woman, without a lot of strength to torque the allen wrench, but I have put lots of furniture together and this was awful! The chair is okay, better than a wooden rocker but not by much. The seat isn’t very comfortable. Hopefully my Mom doesn’t get hurt if it falls apart. ... show more

2 people and a hammer was needed to assemble. After blood sweat and tears we finally made it work. It’s cute like advertised. I’m 5’3 and it fits me perfectly. Protip if the holes on the bottom don’t line up then the rails might be backwards.
