Such a pretty design, and they are well-made sheets, not thin. The fitted sheet has the elastic all the way around and they do fit deep mattresses. The top sheet is plenty big for my queen bed as some can run narrow. I highly recommend them, unless you’re looking for really cool feeling sheets. These are cotton and they’re breathable but they’re not cool feeling and that’s the only thing I would have preferred as well. But I’m keeping them and I got more than one color. Also, the pillowcase covers fit my queen size pillows, and you literally tuck them into it so there is no fabric hanging out the one end like most pillowcases, There is a raised trim on the fitted sheet that goes all the way around the edge, which is a nice detail not sure it’s necessary, but it does look nice. I was surprised how soft these were, even before washing. I love the red color and pattern - paired it with other similar blue patterned sheets to give the room contrast. They have a nice piping on the sides and are very deep. They also stay cool throughout the night, great fabric. The only caveat is that they are off white/cream versus stark white. This is my second set of these sheets. The color is true to the picture and the pattern is exactly what is advertised. I would call them light weight. Exactly what I want from a cotton sheet. I am a diehard cotton fan. I don’t like microfiber for anything. The piping is a nice touch. I wash my sheets before using them and they will need a couple extra washes to be perfect. The colors are beautiful and the set seems to be well made. I like the envelope pillow cases and there's piping around the top edge of the fitted sheet that seems unnecessary but I guess is a nice touch? The material is more stiff than I expected (not a brushed cotton) and I question whether they are actually Egyptian cotton. The title of the post says they are, but nowhere does it state that on the packaging or labels. ... show more
