These things are without a doubt extremely easy to install. Don't get too excited yet because that is the best feature of this product. It's extremely lightweight because it is made with the cheapest possible material/hardware and by the time you get it installed the bolts/screws are already halfway to stripped out because the metal is so soft. If you use the spacers that come with it when you mount it you will find that they are extremely slippery and cause the extension bar to start falling down towards the ground and whatever you have mounted on it is going with it. I can't speak to how they perform when mounted on bikes. Mine is mounted on my e scooter. It's nice that you can get them so cheap because you may be replacing it every few weeks. I would definitely pay more for a better quality one if I could find it. ... show more
