I purchased a size S & M to determine what size I preferred. Some reviewers mentioned that the coat ran big. I am 5’5” and 115 lbs. I kept the medium. The Small fit fine if you are looking for a tailored fit, but I prefer a more “comfortable” fit, so I kept the Medium. Love this Shirt Coat! It fits just right (Medium). Love the color, I got the grey. It's perfect to wear in cold weather, without being bulky like a regular coat. It is lightweight, yet the material is heavy to keep you warm. Glad that it has deep pockets, and you can definitely wear just as a coat or wear as part of any outfit. I bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift. I didn't know what to expect so I was going off of other reviews, and until she opened it I was dreadful. (I've purchased items before and made her cry, in my defense I didn't know petite was small, I thought it meant cute, and it was 10 years ago) When I wrapped it, it was very soft. When she opened it she was very happy at the design and color scheme. She loved the length, the softness and it fit perfectly. I've heard two people compliment her on it and one had to know where she got it. I sent them the link. She stated others have complimented on it too. She is very happy, which makes me very happy, and she is now looking at other colors to buy. The one and only complaint she said she had was that it didn't keep her warm. (She's usually cold anyway, and it is 27 degrees outside.) It is a thinner material not like my pea coat, thicker than flannel, but not as thick as an alpaca blanket. (I may get beat here,) but she has a larger belly, and this was roomy and fit her very well. It honestly looks really nice on her. (for the record, we are not fat, we are just easy to see, sometimes we're funny) She is 5'9 and the length was good, she typically wears an 18 pants and XL tops. I really wanted to like this shacket, but sadly it doesn't work for me. It's not very flattering. The arms and shoulders aren't as baggy as I thought they'd be, but the rest of the shacket is oversized so it makes my arms look shorter than normal. It's made really well, and it's heavier than I thought it would be, but not too heavy. It's perfect for winter or even cold autumn days. The outside material is soft, but the inside is a bit itchy. It has nice deep pockets. I still give it a good rating, because it's beautiful and looks great on the other reviewers! I'll turn it into a gift for someone who can pull it off better. ... show more

The colors are as pictured; I got the tan/brown/black one. First thing I noticed was how heavy it was. Very thick material and super soft. I love it! Typically I wear a large top and large jackets/coats. However this large was super big on me. I know it’s suppose to fit loosely, but I was literally drowning in it. It just looked awkward. Buttttttt, no worries, my mom was happy to take it off my hands and YEP, I for sure ordered another one. So, I would for sure recommend buying it, but size down. ... show more

Long flannel jacket arrived today. Ordered my usual size, L. My arms are normal sized. Sleeves are too short, landing above my watch. The flannel is thick and soft. The jacket is unlined, so not real warm, but will be fine for Fall in SoCal. The side seams run straight down without any feminine waistline taper, so jacket appears boxy. The pockets are along the side seam and shallow, so hands in pockets are along the hips, which is unflattering and feels unnatural. The colors are nice. Jacket is just okay. ... show more
