    • A compact purse with pockets galore!

I bought this purse for the color rather than for the size, and since it matches my more formal coat, I am pleased, but there is more. it contains plenty of room for the items I would carry on a night out. There are a total of 3 zippered pockets on the outside with two of them large enough to fit my phone. The main purse contains two zippered compartments with another zippered compartment in the interior. It is not large enough for a regular sized iPad, but my Kindle easily fits in one of those two zippered compartments. I could fit a book in one of those compartments as well. I tested it with my copy of a book of short stories by Borges, and that book fit easily. The material mimics leather, and it is soft to the touch. It is completed by a shoulder strap that can be shortened or lengthened. I look forward to using this purse the next time I go out as my more formal self. ... show more

VOLGANIK ROCK Purses for Women Soft PU Leather Shoulder Bag Ladies 11.8" RED. This is really a nice purse, soft, functional with all the pockets and zipper openings, well put together, and the RED is gorgeous rich red and a soft supple leather-feel. I do not smell any foul smell as others have noted, and I was in love with it as soon as I opened the package. Unfortunately, the reviews that complain about the zipper getting caught in the lining are true for this one that I received. The FIRST TIME I unzipped the one top zipper, it caught in the lining. I carefully got it uncaught (if that is a word), and zipped it again. Again, it got caught on inner lining. I am returning it, sadly. I am going to try buying the smaller size, same color, in the hope that it won't have this problem. It's only a little over an inch small, so don't think size will be a problem. Lots of different compartments, perfect for everything you need to keep with you. Perfect outside pocket just right for my phone, there's a smaller side pocket for pens to clip on. The strap is just right, can extend or shorten. I have a second purse coming tomorrow, in black. I highly recommend this purse. I'll never go back to cheaper purses. The color is more of a dark cream color, and the buckle slides and I have to keep adjusting it, but it is lightweight, and I love it. I wish it came in light gray. I love these purses but the gray one I ordered seems to be a return item, it had shipping bag and paper wadded up inside the purse, if they are going to send returned items they need to at least give a discount. ... show more

I originally bought this purse about 5 years ago. I liked it so much, that I bought a few different colors. I like the larger version better because it fits my large (but flat) wallet, my larger phone, cosmetic bag, and several other things in lots of pockets, and really keeps me organized. The zippers are strong, and I've never had any problems. This purse is amazing, especially for the low price. I've given them as gifts and highly recommend them. ... show more

Not at all true to color. Not even a little bit. Zippers also noticeably different color. It is smaller like I wanted, and since purses have been huge for so long it looks deceptively tiny by comparison. Don't let the initial shock of getting what you asked for scare you. It will hold a lot. Very soft as people have mentioned. Time will tell how that holds up. So initial look I don't see any loose seams or anything. They pack it so squished that it looks like a wrinkled mess, but I expect regular use will fix that. The inside lining is very thin, so I'm concerned about it's long term wear, and there's also an excess of it. So be careful zipping because it gets stuck in the zipper. I'll see how it works despite being the wrong color and try to let you know after some actual use. ***Edit*** After using this purse a week, I am relatively pleased. Added a star. Pros: Despite the compact size, it does hold a fair amount of stuff. It's soft and feels nice to touch. Because it's smaller and less heavy I've experienced a decrease in neck/shoulder pain. One of the main motivations for finally seeking out a smaller purse again (online because they don't have nice ones in stores!) Cons: Color nowhere close. Even after cutting out things like gum/mints and other misc items I used to carry, I can't fit my cell phone in this thing. It's so smooth that the strap likes to keep sliding down my shoulder. Would buy another but try another color. I'm curious to see the bigger one and see if it's still smaller than what I was used to but a tad more roomy that this one. This one would still be great if you're switching out bare essentials (wallet, keys, phone, etc) like to go to a concert or theme park so less to carry/be searched upon entering. Edit #2: This purse has worked out well overall, so I ordered the bigger version to try. I wanted options for when I have a need to bring a few more odds and ends. I took it back though as it was not as attractive looking as the smaller one and had one of those useless, bottomless large center pockets. I hate digging through so much just to find one item, so I prefer two smaller ones. Stick with the smaller version. Oh and funnily enough, the color was off on this bigger one too. I forgot to get a pic before I returned it though. 18m UPDATE: I still love it, but the lining I was so careful to avoid catching in the zipper finally caught. Now one of my zippers is broken rendering the purse useless. Sigh. RIP. It was a good run. Added pictures to show how well it held up despite all the people saying it fell apart. I barely had two small issues in the corners after all that time. Added side by side with the new dark blue one. I really didn't like any of the colors, but I wanted something different. If they would make a few more options for color that would be great. ... show more
