I have smelled this perfume before as a tester and it was much more fresh with bamboo/coconut scent. I was going to gift this to my mom as she loves Katy Perry fragrances. However upon opening and smelling this one, all I smelled was a pungent powder smell followed by a heady, rancid amber smell. I looked up the batch code on the bottle to learn that this product is nearly 4 years old. I would be fine if it were even 1-2 years post production but I think 4 years is far too old, this is the time I'd be putting an expiration on my shelf perfumes. The smell test is the most important and this does not smell as expected at all. My guess is it is stored somewhere not climate control but even then, this affects anyone's ability to enjoy a product for longer. You can't return flammable products so I am extremely disappointed. It's like I worked 1 hour just to buy a rancid perfume. And the little metal thing that snaps the cat head onto the bottle snapped off. I'm glad everyone got a product they love, but I was not one of them. I'd purchase from her website in the future. ... show more
