I’m not sure if it’s the coconut sugar, but Purely Elizabeth Original delivers a flavor “journey” not dissimilar from a complex wine. Up front the palate opens up with a unique and delicious cinnamon-y caramelized nuttiness that blooms over a couple seconds, then there’s a slight note of saltiness that quickly segues into butteriness, which then fades as the saltiness returns, more pronounced in the finish. Overall, not super sweet, and saltier than most granolas, but, by Jove, it’s a fantastic, if addictive, combination! Great on its own, and also with unsweetened/regular Greek yogurt.
