I've had these curtains a year and just opened the package. I was shocked at how sheer and lightweight they were. I was doubted their ability to block sun let alone resist water resistance let alone sun blocking properties. There is no place better than Texas to put their performance to the test. For starters. These have been installed in my family living area which faces west These curtains are installed on top of shades. It's 5:35 pm and they are definitely blocking rhe sun. We had a heavy down pour a few hours ago. We sat on the deck and watch the water slide right off. We found them easy ro install. At first glance, I thought I had mad a poor purchase. It works great while closed but when the wind blows, it opens it. I was hoping it was a little heavier, so it wouldn’t open so easy. I have it on my back porch to shade my plants when it’s so hot. I’ll have to figure out how to keep it shut. But I do like it because it’s waterproof.

I was shocked to see how flimsy and THIN the curtains are. The image on the site is comparable to all sellers with this product. However, the actual product is very lightweight, nearly paper thin. OK for summer. But there is no means of securing them at the bottom to prevent the wind from blowing them all over the place. It's just sewn across. The other band I also purchased has a pocket / space for rod insertion (or something weighted) at the bottom, in addition to the grommets at the top. Unless you are using this brand for interior use, I would NOT recommend them for outdoors as suggested. Again, they are not constructed to secure the bottoms if necessary. I live near a beach. It's always windy. So the airborne curtains of 120 inches long, flowing all about isn't a good look. (My opinion) ... show more

I wanted to improve my curb appeal and it turned out very nice. The curtains are waterproof and of a nice thickness. They can move around a lot in high winds so you may want to find a way to keep them held down but other than that I would recommend.

Pro - Great material. Light. Good construction. Easy to install. Prevents Sun from getting me hot while in gazebo and keeps it out of my eyes as excepted. Beautiful as you can tell in the evening pic of my gazebo. I own 9 panels so here’s the problem I see in them: Con - Advertising says withstands fade. I picked this curtain (which is a little more pricey) because of it. It’s only been 8-10 weeks since I purchased my first one and you can see in the pics the aggressive fade that has already occurred when I put the new panel in. I thought it was maybe that on that side there was more sun and it was harder on the curtains, but when I checked the other side same thing. Truly disappointing. I would have given a five star review if not for the fade because everything else is fine ... show more
