    • Stones come lose

Product went together easy and looked good at first but after stepping on them several times the stones all started to come loose to the point that 50% of them were loose within the first month. Not sure how this was supposed to hold up

    • Awesome Interlocking Deck Tiles!

I needed something that I could use as a step stone pathway between our pool cage to the pump across the rocks in my landscape beds. I wanted something a bit different from typical stepping stones and this ended up being perfect! Each of these plastic tiles, measuring almost 12”x12”, have highly polished stones glued to the surface and they interlock with tabs on the sides. The stone are affixed with high quality adhesive and even with plenty of use, exposure to the harsh Florida environment and weather the stones have remained solidly affixed. I learn a bit during installation and use of this set. Through trial and error I’ve found it’s best to level your surface with paver sand and then cover that with a high quality landscape fabric to prevent weeds. Then place these tiles on top of this surface. While it’s difficult to see in the listing photos you can see the black plastic framing that the rocks are attached to and I felt this looked incomplete. Initially I had sand as a “mortar” between the stones but this washed away too easily. I switched to black fish gravel ( https://www.amazon.com/Glofish-Aquarium-Gravel-Solid-5-Pound/dp/B007TGMLXM/ref=sr_1_2?crid=27EFZQ97RA0LM&keywords=aquarium+black+gravel&qid=1646933230&sprefix=Black+grave%2Caps%2C93&sr=8-2 ) and by having the base a fraction on an inch lower than the surrounding area and using larger stones as edging the gravel has stayed in place and allowed water to pass through. This provides a great finished appearance with no plastic visible. These are a gorgeous interlocking deck or stepping stone option. Yes, there are cheaper options - but these are unique, will hold up well and really stand out. This is a set I definitely recommend. ... show more

The stones are well attached and it looks nice. I wanted these to go under a large pot that's on our concrete pad to improve both look and drainage. I can see though how they'd look very nice alternated with other tiles as shown in the description. The tiles connect well. In a few spots the stones were a bit in the way but that wasn't impossible to deal with as they're quite flexible. Stones are well attached with a good glue... I'll see how they survive water and sun but I'm so far optimistic. I think I could replace stones if I had to as well. Not sure if its a negative as it makes a pattern but you definitely can see the "lines" of the tiles as the stones don't cover the connections. Its not unattractive... just something to be aware of. And there's no "finishing" edging for the exposed edges where you don't connect. Though that's not bad looking either. I did see glue on a few of the rocks. I circled the most obvious one in the picture. Not super noticeable but ideally there would be none. Overall can be a nice looking option to spruce up your areas where you'd like the look of rock without rocks getting kicked around. ... show more

- Made in China - I requested the sliced gray and white I requested these to use as the floor for our outdoor shower and they're fantastic. Up a little on their grid, they drain very well. They're flat and even almost soft feeling. No pokey things or rough edges. I need another set of these to finish but I find them rather expensive. 4 sq ft for the current $70 makes me want to make my shower smaller instead. I do think they're great, just pricey. I got these to replace the janky looking tiles that currently serve as a walkaway in my backyard. Once laid down and connected, they look tidy and hold firmly in place over the dirt. A few things keep me from giving it 5 stars. A few of the rocks were slightly loose and not held together well by the glue. A few others have visible glue residue on their tops. From afar, you won't notice the lines beneath the rocks (they serve as the foundation), but upon closer inspection, they can be seen and are kind of unsightly. The dynamic color variation of the rocks on each square does give it a more authentic feel, which I like. ... show more

I have an indoor Health Path that imitates the ones the Chinese people use in public parks. They build whole paths made of stones where people walk barefoot or with socks from several minutes up to one or more hours to massage their feet and improve their health according to the wonderful 5,000 year old Traditional Chinese Medicine. The health path I have is made of very thick fabric where the stones have been stuck. Once it has been used, it can be rolled up and put back in its bag. As I want one for outdoor use that doesn't need to be rolled out, I decided to request these pebble tiles to see how they would work for an outdoor "health path". The pebbles are beautiful and look great everywhere. I don't know if I will build a health path with them because, in order to massage the feet, the stones in a health path must be more pointy and irregular in shape, Whether I build a health path or not, I will surely do something with these tiles. They are so gorgeous looking and so easy to install that I will surely be ordering more. I cannot think of one place where these tiles wouldn't look great. ... show more
