First off, it is a FreezeMod pump and not some cheap knock off. Secondly, you can't hear it run and it moves your coolant with some serious speed. This thing works just as good as any other, and it's alot cheaper. The only thing I do not like is you have to have molex to power it. The fan header connector for this pump only adjusts the speed and tells the motherboard the rpms. If you have an all sata power supply, you will have to find a sata to molex adapter. Edit: Going on almost 2 years now. This pump still works just fine. It's been pushing through 2 360 rads, Ryzen 5900x, and a liquid devil without any hiccups or falters. The case it's moving all of this coolant through is a TUF gaming bohemoth, so there's plenty of stress on the pump. Does it daily with ZERO issues. Great product and I will purchase another one for the day this one finally gives out. UPDATE: Almost hit the 3 year mark, and I finally replaced this pump. It did not stop working completely, however it took setting it as high as it would possibly go to get around 50% of the pumping ability. Before anyone decides that 3 years isn't good longevity for a sub $100 pump/reservoir, this particular pump was used almost daily keeping a 5900x and XFX 6900xt(did upgrade 2 years ago) cool. If that doesn't sound like it's worth it, then why are you looking at this price point anyways? This is/was a well worth it investment for any gamer. ... show more

Its been in my rig for about a year and its quiet! i cant complain as of yet. Maybe in the future ill upgrade to a different pump but as of right now ill leave it be. Definitely worth the money for this one.

  • Pretty decent
Color: 17cm-white
Seems to flow pretty good. Just have gpu in loop with a 240 rad. I may put cpu in loop soon. Fans high speed on rad ekwb on 3070 runs about 67c on full load. I know there are more factors to lc still learning. Slight wine while running but way quieter than stock gpu fans. Cpu is in loop. Runs same with 2 240 rads. Now July still no issues. ... show more

  • stunningly quiet! and then it died.
Color: 12cm-black
Background: bought this as an emergency replacement when it appeared my old pump red combo broke during maintenance cycle. Prognosis there is that the threading on the reservoir end broke down, so maybe the pump is still fine. Either way, back to the review. First thing that stands out in the positive is how quiet this one is running. Even connected on the molex (it can do either that or a fan header), the only thing I hear from it, is the old school silver coil spinning around once the loop was filled with distilled water. The provided kit is great, with tons of extra brackets, screws, and even extra o rings for the reservoir. That said, my old pump is rated for a similar amount of fluid flow, and is a bit noisier. But it seems the tradeoff on the silence is the pressure; or rather, lack thereof. This new one took a fair bit more effort to fill the loop I have ( one 240, one 360 rad, and then CPU and GPU block[s]). It just doesn't have as much head pressure to help force the water through like the old one. Not a big deal once it is full, but it does feel like a downer, especially with how much more expensive this unit was. Still, for an emergency replacement, it's tough to do much better than this. Edit: Woke up this morning wondering why my rgb was indicating that the CPU was running so hot in my loop. Between hwmonitor readings, and the fact that I didn't hear the audio of the silver coil spinning around, that pretty much strongly suggests the pump just failed on me. And of course it's outside the return window for me to return it to Amazon. ... show more

  • Great price, high quality pump
Color: 17cm-black
My 7 year old, 24/7 operation, D5 based pump/reservoir combo finally died. I picked this up as a temporary emergency fix, figuring that at it's price it must be fairly cheaply built. However was very impressed with build quality and have had it running now 24/7 for 8 weeks. Very happy, have it horizontally mounted in a 4u rack. ... show more

  • Dead Quiet
Color: 17cm-black
I can't hear it. Even so quiet I wondered if it's even on but you can feel it with your hand and first filling it see it is on. Plugged in molex for power and sensor for RPM + PWM in motherboard fan header. According to Asrock A-tuning motherboard software RPM is 3650 full speed set in bios. It is a Freezemod. It says so right on the front of it and top.. Can't complain just add antifreeze 50/50 half and half distilled water + 1 drop of dish soap and good to go. Draining will be difficult on this pump except you mod a splitter fitting somewhere, which I didn't so I get to syphon it out until I remedy this. Only thing is no freezemod packaging but some generic box with loose material inside. Nothing broken. If I had to choose again I'd choose this one. Hopefully it lasts. Edit: So it was great and pump is still working nicely but unfortunately the reservoir part of it started to crack and all by itself.. I would just swap the reservoir but i guess it comes as one piece because it's impossible to remove. so I need to return it. Shame because the pump still works. ... show more

  • Very quiet operation and lots of volume.
Color: 12cm-black
I had this hooked up within a day for testing on the bench. Even in open air sitting on a small cardboard box which will usually amplify any noise this little pump is uber quiet. It also moves alot of liquid. Everything in its description is true. Lots of mixed reviews on this pump, I will report again after it has been running for a time. ... show more

  • Works but flawed.
Color: 17cm-white
It's a decent pump in reservor but you will get little pieces a white pieces of material in your loop whether you're careful or not.
