I was happy to see the results for such an inexpensive product. I WAS glad I opted for the version with two light strips. I feel like that made a difference. I’ve posted a few unedited pics I took using my camera phone. After editing they looked even better. TIP for those who still get a grayish caddy when taking pics with your phone… you have to kind of wiggle your phone around at different angles until the light sensor kicks in. Then you’ll see the picture become clear, and after a few seconds the light levels adjust up. At least that’s my experience with a relatively current iPhone. COMPARISON NOTE: if you look closely at some similar products, upon see the background mat is non-woven paper fabric with a texture. These aren’t like that… they’re like really thin fun foam from the hobby store. It’s perfectly smooth and matte. Install the background in the opposite direction it was folded in the package and you won’t get that annoying fold line in your photos. ... show more

Do not purchase this light box, I have emailed this company for the past 3x weeks trying to get a different version due to this versions faults LEDs don’t work, Came (disfigured) bowed outward on the right side, look I understand it’s super inexpensive under $20 but this is ludicrous I tried to handle it the professional way and I did get a response 1x I should’ve just sent it back but I assumed because the company said not to worry they would help me out, I had nothing to worry boy was I wrong they asked me to take more pics of the issues so I did resent the email immediately and order number to them and Inhave yet to receive a response from this company and I have been EXTREMELY kind and patient yet crickets I’ve heard nothing from them…all I asked was May I get the next step up as it’s for my small side business and at that point I was happy to pay the few $ difference I think it like $7 but as of now and my 6th email I have time stamps too, Puluz and company have yet to respond to my email regarding the issues it’s quite sad because I spent a decent amount of time reviewing the small black Puluz light box model and it seems to get good reviews so to say the least I’m supper disappointed. In all, it is ok. For the price, it's not bad. Suitable for just starting a business. The box is brighter than it takes in photos. I took this photo with an iPhone 11 on the professional photographer camera mode. It could be more radiant and maybe nicer but, for the price, it's pretty good. Tip, it only works with big block plugs so, if you plug the plug into a smaller block or outlet it will just strobe. Update : the photos are much better if all your lights are off. At first, I had the lights on when taking the photo but when I took u in the dark and turned the box in the picture was way more detailed. The picture with the brownies is with the lights off ... show more

Not a bad little studio for the price. Its compact, portable and easy to set up! The LED lights illuminate your subject rather well and comes with their own USB cords (2)! The included backgrounds come in several colors and should provide you with a nice variety. Some of my minor gripes are: 1. I wish the backgrounds had "wings" to also cover the side walls so you don't have to rotate your subjects to get varied angles. 2. The plastic is of the flex type, but I'm not sure how durable the folds are going to be over time. 3. It would be nice to have a defuser for the LEDs to soften the light. Aside from the minor gripes, this little studio gets the job done. Anything tablet-sized is going to be a tight spot without getting the side walls, so keep the objects on the small side. ... show more

The dual bands of LED's are great and provide a good amount for softness on their own to help with reflections. The device itself is hard plastic and will rip if you are too forceful with it. However, the product is AMAZING in a pinch or if you are working with a smaller DSLR or your phone. It provides enough space to move the light around and would only be better if it was dimmable. Connected to power means 100% all the time. no off switch. I hooked mine to an Anker power bank for when in use and have had it run for 4+ hours with no issues at all. the LED strip will get warm but not hot in my experience.
