First of all if you live in a hot climate do not attempt to put this together when it is hot because it will not stay together just falls apart. I bought this for my 2 Aussie puppies after they tried to remodel the dog house that I bought for them 2 weeks ago that was made out of wood. I got it very fast but it was a very warm day around 90 degrees and every time I would push the panels in they would just drop out because the plastic was so warm almost hot after tying for an hour to put it together per the instructions I said I will do this my way. I would put the screws in after I installed the side to the roof. I did this for each side as well as the front and back. This made the installation much easier on me and made the dog house more sturdy and easier for me to move around. I did all of this in my dogs kennel which is quite large 12 feet long by 6 feet wide and has a metal roof over half of the kennel because of the size of the dog house I knew it would not fit through the door of the kennel. It was light enough for me to put on the pallets without any trouble and to my surprise the 2 Aussies puppies seem to like it much better than the previous one because they both now can look out the door opening while still in the dog house. Our coonhound loves this house and us outdoors quite often in the pacific northwest. We did not have to seal it or anything, just added blankets for warmth in case of cold weather and he likes to hang out inside. On sunny and warm days it keeps it cool and not too hot so he can be in the sun. Great price for the quality of the house. We have had no issues since setting it up in mid September. ... show more

Love it for the most part! My dog on the other hand has knocked the stakes loose and now I have to figure something else out to hold it down with the stakes are cheap plastic things that barely amount to anything and aren’t going to last if your dog is medium to large sized I have a pitbull and it took her all of 1 night to knock the entire dog house over due to the stakes being poor quality lol the house itself is decent not the most amazing thing but it’s definitely something that will work you get what you pay for and I believe this is basically equal ... show more

Eady to assemble, sturdy enough. For a plastic dog house, it's pretty good, light enough for my wife to easily move around.Stays dry inside, I personally haven't slept in it but my dog says it's good.

You need 2 people to put this together. Seems pretty sturdy but could use some metal ground stakes instead of plastic.

It is a good shelter. We bought the door flaps to keep the cold out. The only bad thing, we have a giant puppy. He has eaten the screw caps off the top of his house.
