I got a case from another seller thru Amazon. Sooooo disappointed. The cover didn’t fit no matter how hard I tried. Returned it, and tried a different seller. This case arrived two days later. Extremely satisfied!!! This cover fit perfectly. It was kinda odd at first. The cover comes in two plates, not four like what I removed from the PS5 slim. I thought I ordered the wrong one. Nope. That’s the design. It took less than a minute to install. Very pleased with the result. The vents do seem to make a difference with the overall heat coming from my PS5 slim. But the appearance is such a big improvement over its intended design. I can’t say enough about it. I do wish the included instructions were a bit more precise. It’s just a few diagrams on a small sheet of paper. But it went together so easy they’re not even necessary. I’ve already shown pics to my friends and recommended the covers. Will definitely buy from them again if I ever intend to change the color. The included pic does not do it justice. I should’ve made a video but was excited to put them on. My bedroom is black so the original white really messed up the aesthetic. SMH. ... show more

Will never know if it has any positive effects in the long run but im sure having ventilation makes a big difference with maintaining a cool temp on your console. Makes my ps5 look sharp though!

I absolutely LOVE this replacement “skin” for the PS5! I am one who hates the bright white look of the standard PS5 and wished it was black by default. I was very excited to learn how easy the standard panels of the PS5 are to remove and that they sold aftermarket panels like this product. A massive bonus with this particular product - and the reason I went with this one over others - is the open fan port feature. With the fan port being there you can physically feel the air being sucked into the top of the PS5 if you put your hand next to it! After this product I purchased another fan type device that plugs in the back of my PS5 and pulls air out the back of the system. With these two things combined you can feel the tons of hot air being pulled through the top of the new “skin” and right out the back of the system. I can’t believe all that hot air was just trapped in the system! The standard panels of the PS5 pop off surprisingly easy and these ones pop on just as easy. No worries there at all. This literally took me under a minute to do. I just love the all black look now and can’t imagine not having the fan port now that I feel all that hot air coming off the machine. I’m very happy with this purchase and can’t recommend it more highly to you. I hope this review was helpful to you in some way. Cheers! ... show more
