I installed filters over my fans as well as installed a mesh screen that wraps around the front and top. But I wanted to increase the air flow by installing these. I don’t have a measurable way to know if they are working how I wanted but I like these. I have my ps5 horizontal and the stand I have for that does not fit snuggly on one end compared to the factory case. The ps5 still sits evenly despite this issue. ... show more

The black covers makes the PS5 blend in with my entertainment center. I have a glass door on the entertainment center so the original white cover made it stand out. Almost like a white elephant in the room. I think it looks a lot better all blacked out with the led light strips of the PS5. The cutouts for air flow are a plus. I can feel the air coming through the cutouts. Assembly is fairly easy. A little force was needed to remove the covers but they have some flex so they wont break. The new covers fit like the original covers. The top cover went on smoothly. When placing the bottom cover it would not seat itself all the way so I gave it a little bump with the palm of my hand and it seated perfectly. I highly recommend these. ... show more

My PS5 was randomly shutting off due to overheating. I have purchased two different fan attachments to pull the hot air previously and it still had overheating issues. I have yet to have my PS5 overheat since installing this. Would recommend.

5 star quality product just as good as Dbrand for a bit less and it works that’s that matters in the end! For anyone who has had random shut downs on PS5. This is it right here! I looked everywhere back fans didn’t work and I wouldn’t recommend that as it seems it can potentially make things worse. The openings in these plates for sure let the fans have better airflow and are of quality build. Far from cheap too but trust me this fixed random shut downs for those who know…know we have looked everywhere it’s so annoying and a headache. One thing I’d recommend not doing though at least for me the included filters while they keep dust away they also reduce airflow. So I only put one filter on the bottom side and everything has been good ever since then. Of course this was me because I went through so much over this issue so it’s your choice if you want to use the filters or not. As long as you keep it clean on a regular basis with these new plates heating problems and random shutdowns solved! As for the color it’s great seeing the PS5 in red and goes together with the red PS5 controller, thank you again. ... show more
