It's been a few months since I bought it and finally want to give my thoughts on this controller. I needed a new one for my PS3 and after doing so much research on other third party PS3 controllers, I ended up purchasing this one. I must say that it's a solid controller. For PS3: Now, if you also want one for a PS3 replacement, then I must first warn you that the "PS" button will not turn on your PS3 or take you home or even turn off your console when it comes to playing a game. It will also not take you home if you are using an app like Youtube and wish to switch to another app Unlike a standard PS controller will, you'll need to get up and press the power button if you wish to do any of that. It will still work fine if you wish to play a game or watch a Blu-ray/DVD. It's a decent replacement for a PS3 controller, though with some gripes. For PS4: It's a good replacement controller. Yes, it feels smaller than a standard PS controller, but I personally don't mind it. It feels nice and works well. I have had no issue with any of the buttons when using it. The PS button will take you to the home menu when using it on PS4. Although, you will need to turn it on by pressing the power button on the console. I have read complaints when it comes to playing first person shooters, but since I don't play those "POV" style games, it isn't a problem for me. I genuinely like this controller especially for my PS4. If you wish to save a couple bucks, this is a fine option. ... show more

So first off. This thing is cute. It's sensitive so gaming is comfortable. I take it with me every time I travel. Since it's tiny it stores nicely. Got some drift on the right stick after a month but blowing out the edges inside the right stick it was good again . Would recommend

Lack of major functions like rumble features, and no track pad is a big drawback, as well as it being wired. Yes I know that’s how they advertised it but the cord isn’t long enough and it doesn’t work with 100% of the games. My kid had no problem- being 4 years old and small hands. But when I used it it seemed like there was a short bit of lag. Giving 3.5 out of 5 because yea your kid will love it and can maneuver the controller better than regular size controllers but the length of the cord and the the “missing” features drew me back a bit. I hope song makes varying size controllers in the future and not leave it up to 3rd parties. Overall happy but not an A+. ... show more

I am liking this controller quite a bit because it has been very versatile for PC gaming. I can play older games and more modern games no problem. You will need to get a 3rd party program to make a PS4 controller work with about any game. However, after that I have been using it for anything from arcade to NES platformers to Dark Souls 2, etc. When I thought about getting this controller, I was thinking the size would be a problem. That hasn't been the case though. If you have played on a SNES or 8BitDo pad, you should feel about the same with a PS4 Mini. The only minuses I can give this controller is the size/position of the L1 and R1 buttons and lack of a real trackpad. L1and R1 are for some reason thinner than the L2 and R2. Was a bit awkward at first, but I was able to get used to it. It's weird that they didn't make them the same size though. The controller has a clunky way of using the trackpad by holding down the TP button for a short time. Then the analog will act as trackpad movement. Not elegant in the least, but for $30 what can you expect. I don't need the trackpad for anything I'm using it for anyway so not a huge loss IMO. The analog sticks are bare plastic so I'd recommend getting some stick covers. I've used some Nintendo Switch stick covers and they fit well. Your thumbs will thank you. ... show more
